I feel like I'm the only one. No I'm not gay, I've gotten laid before, got a decent amount of BJ's but in terms of being obsessed with finding a girlfriend or getting laid I couldn't care less. I actually find it funny when some people I know say,"Dude, OMFG, so many hot girls at this party, we got to go" And I proceed to sneak out back home and basically record some guitar tracks. I do watch porn though, I just dont get why people NEED to have a girlfriend in thier life, I just think that shit is a waste of time, energy and it doesn't serve a purpose.

The second part though... they may not think they're going to get married, but honestly... when you invest emotion in somebody, you can't expect it not to hurt when it ends, whether you know it's coming or not.

Yea, I really can't say the second part so I'm retracting it because as I said, I really don't get all of it or get a feeling to go out and get a g/f ASAP.

Its not a bad way to live, i personally try to stay away from anything that resembles a relationship. One night stands, fuck buddies, and random hookups are alright with me. Hell i even enjoy CASUAL dating.

I've done the whole serious relationship thing before, and i don't see any reason to do it again until I'm serious about finding a life partner.

I'm absolutely dumbfounded by my friends that are getting engaged to girls at 18 or 19.

Agreed. If you simply focus on that 'bonus', then yes, porn is a cheaper alternative, but a having a good relationship is like having a best friend, assuming you are at least slightly compatable, you just have that little extra somethin you can do when there's nothing to talk about ;-)

A relationship is something for me to keep on living. When i'm not in one, i don't really have anythiing. So i'm kind of dependent on relationships for stability, which is unhealthy but reality.

To be completely honest, I don't think I'm mentally stable enough to have a girlfriend, and that makes me very sad.

I been single for a while, so ready to find a quality female and start datin her.. most of these college bitches though are straight up sluts and attention whores.. not worth sweating over females that want to go out and get their "girls gone wild" thing on.. so what the fuck ever. jus gotta focus on my game and doing shit to better myself, shit will get better!!!

That's exactly how I feel, except for going to a party with alot of hot girls, I would go.

But I wouldn't go to try and find a girlfriend, I would go to get the fucking p00ntang.

All through high school I felt as if I was on another level with most people, including girls.

Even 2 years after high school I didn't give a shit.

I dwelled on what would I do, where would we go, what do I say, the usual shit.

I wanted some girl to call my own for a while, I didn't want to skip around with people because I new since I never had the experience, I wouldn't ask any girl out. I would just let one come to me and then keep her for as long as I could.

Then one day some girl wanted to hook me up with one of her friends. Because the opportunity came to me, I jumped on it. It just lasted the summer. But it was long enough to make me feel it was completely possible, me to have a normal relationship.

So then after it was over I started asking average chicks out to go do shit, with really no intention of having any sort of relationship.

Because you have no intention of having a relationship with them, you lose the anxiety of fucking it up. You get ideas of what to do with girls your interested in.

Instead of giving girls the upper hand, I act cocky and have little fear in going up to some that seem to have some interest in me. I stare some girls down and smile. I feel like now I intimidate them, instead of creeping them out.

Something clicked in my head, along with one post here that really changed the way I think.

I've got my friends, school, 2 jobs, and tons of partying to do. If I can find a girl that fits in there and is a good match for me, cool. If not, it isn't a big deal.

There's a girl I've been trying to take out, but she got sick for the past week or so, but I'm spending the night with her Saturday night... if anything or nothing happens, I'm cool with it. She's cute and smart, but that's all I really know about her at the moment. Maybe she'd be a good girl to start dating, maybe not...

As long as I don't get some girlfriend whom tries to put me on lock, I'm happy.
