Todays the day (Break up)
Its 6:45am now and later today im going to be breaking up with my girlfriend.
Bleh....the problem isnt her, or me even, i really do like her but i just have no time, college work that needs to be done especially witht he courses i chose (two inparticular Graphic design and photography) need alot of work on them then ive got English lit and history to deal with on top of those.
I havent properly seen her in two weeks exactly today through a combination of her having the flu and not wanting to go out and such and me having work.
Ive never done this before my only other two girlfriends...well, the first cheated and broke up with me through a txt message and the one just before my current girlfriend left me after 9 months....so i dont know how in the hell im going to do it.
My friend recently broke up with her boyfriend because of this problem, and its shit because we both really like them, its just the not ever getting to see them.
Any advice? i dont nkow what in the hell to do, i sort of have smething in my head to say but i know in the moment it will all just be wiped away and ill be stood there trying, but failing to say what i wanna say.

Re: Todays the day (Break up)
Where the hell have you been?
Just say what you said here.
You really like her and stuff, but you never see her and you don't feel like it can go anywhere right now.

You don't feel that you can offer her what she deserves. You feel badly about it and wish her the best for her next relationship.

Well if you've completely ignored her for two weeks, I imagine she might have kinda got the hint allready..

I agree.
Add something like she won't have trouble finding someone else or something to make her not feel rejected or anything.

Why don't you just talk to her and see where her thoughts are on this? She might agree that it is the sensible thing to do and the fact that you're not doing it in order to date other people could be reinforced.
It sounds like school is your number one priority right now and you need to be able to focus on that without feeling guilty about not being able to spend time with her.

Re: Todays the day (Break up)
Alright, this is the best way to break up with someone (in saying that, if you actually do it, I'll give you a medal).
*Have sex*
*roll over after sex*
*look at partner, right in the eyes* (can't be too dark)
"Welcome to dumpsville, population, you!"
*run for your life*

It's the most logical step. You may be jumping the gun.

Re: Todays the day (Break up)
Well i didnt see her yesterday.
It is 3am now and im thinking about what ill say today, hopefully ill see her.
I messaged her saying to meet me at the reception of the college at 1pm but she didnt turn up for 15 minutes so i left...but then met a friend later and he said she has been wanting to see me.....so im wondering why she didnt or perhaps couldnt come see me at that time (maybe a lesson)
Bleh, the sad thing is i really like her, and i always thought that "too busy for a relationship" thing was bull but now i am at the sharp end of it and its tough.
Firekitty - Unfortunatly too busy for relationship also means too busy for totse although, i have come here a little and i just didnt post as i was away for about a month and everything seems different.
Yoyo - Ive not ignored her, ive tried numberous times to see her but she has bad the flu and or couldnt come see me in college as shes doing a different type of course to me so we have different lesson times.
I guess i will just say, i dont think we can work out right now because of the whole not having time to spend together thing and see how it goes.
I just hope she leaves first, i dont want her stood there and me stood silent wonderinf when its ok for me to walk off
