Default What's with all the creeps?

Ugh, lately my friends and I seem to be attracting the weirdest guys.

Usually it's easy to deal with weird guys that like me, even if they're persistant. They usually give up.

But this one...

Bushy called me from this random guy's phone the other day, and I called back later to see who it was. I ended up talking to this guy, and he seemed cool so I said "oh well, perhaps you'd like to come hang out at the hookah bar with me and my friends sometime."

He said he would, then bushy told me that this guy thought I meant a date or something. So that was weird, but whatever. Then tonight he called me and I told him I would be there in a bit, I was just getting gas.

I think bushy told him I have red hair. My hair has a red tint to it, but it's mostly brown. But he kept calling me saying I was being really bitchy by saying I was getting gas but I was really there. He just called me to say he saw me there when I said I was getting gas, and I realized he must have seen my friend, who does have red hair.

I told him that and he said "I'm sorry for being an ass, I just don't want to get my feelings hurt."

Earlier, he got mad at me and said "Well, I'm not your type anyway and you're probably not mine, so this probably won't work out."

I've never met the guy, and he's already like calling me and freaking out. I feel bad, because he seems really desperate, but I made it clear to him that I'm not looking to date anybody... especially people I don't know. When he called me just a few minutes ago I told him I had to go, and it took five minutes to get off the phone with him. Then thirty seconds later, he called me back to tell me again that he's sorry, and he really just doesn't want me to hurt his feelings.

WTF? My friends brought along this guy, and when I explained the situation to him he said "oh, well let's just pretend I'm with you or something." I told this guy I was sort of seeing somebody, and it like, didn't even register.

What do I do?? He has my number, he knows where I hang out, and he knows where bushy lives. It's getting really creepy. It's one thing to be clingy, and that's bad enough. It's another to get attached before you even know somebody... I mean, he's never even seen a picture of me. I don't know how to deal with this....

Restraining order?

Here in good ole' america you only need to prove that you've been in a relationship (or are family) with the restrainee to be eligible to get one. Sounds like you won't have a hard time with that

I'm sure his approach works on some girls. It's best to be blunt and mature with him.

I was blunt, and I didn't freak out or yell... and I wasn't rude until I hung up because he wouldn't stop talking. So mostly mature. I dunno what to do. If I don't answer, he keeps calling. Ughhh.

He needs to understand that there was never any interest. bushy could have said anything to him about you. If he's calling you like that, then I'm sure he has asked bushy about you. I'd be curious to hear what he said.

Honestly I would probably interpret it the same way (although I dont think I wuld go quite so overboard with it).

Obviously he has not had a girlfriend and has next to no experience dealing with them.

*sigh* Staring into the mirror isnt easy.

The first time I talked to this guy I told him I'm not a nice person and that I'm hard to deal with.

He also said that bushy said I'm a pain in the ass, and difficult to deal with. Which is true.

His response? "You seem like a nice girl. You just don't take shit from anybody. I like that."

I said "no... really. I'm kind of a bitch."

He thinks/hopes you might 'give it up'? He surely don't want to miss out on that.

You know how guys can get... If a girl has had the thexxth. That mean she wants it. That means a guy who wants her should have her give it up with no delay?

He feels you owe him? Why won't you give it up? He nnnneeeeds it so bad?!

Well, hookahs originated in the middle east. They're really popular in Greece, Turkey, and Spain. Or so I've heard.

A hookah is a waterpipe you use to smoke flavored tobacco. You could smoke weed with it, but then it ruins the flavor of anything you ever smoke out of it again. Also good for smoking opium, as it gives the smoke enough time to cool down.

It's not nice to call somebody a creep. Especially somebody you've not met yet or even attempted to understand.

You seem to have made a lot of excuses, maybe if you'd told him the truth about exactly how you felt; you'd have got results faster and he might have learned a thing or two.

Everything is to do with looks.

Your thread title was about what's with all the creeps, implying that there's more than one, and that you're having to wade knee deep in horny frustrated males.

And as a beautifull woman, that is one of the things you have to get used to dealing with.

I reccomend carrying nunchucks and a tazer.

It's very difficult to get rid of a creep. Usually they don't respond to the polite "I don't want a relationship right now" thing, or simply not answering the phone when they call. If he calls you again, freak the hell out on him. You say you're a bitch? Put it to good use. And I mean really ruin-his-life snappage. That should give him the hint. And if not, find one of your biggest, scariest, meanest looking guy friends, and get him to tell the guy to "stay the fuck away from my girlfriend." That works too.

I can outcreep any creep.

If a guy starts to get super clingy I generally reciprocate and do one better.. 'Omg shnookums! I'm going to text you every hour to tell you how much I love U!!!!!!' usually works.

Which really really freaks guys out. Turning the knife is allways weird.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

Sometimes I have trouble sleeping. Last night, it took about two hours to fall asleep. I finally did, around 6am.

Then he calls.

He said "I'm sorry for being an asshole earlier. I was just mad that you said you weren't there, but you really were. But I forgive you."

I said "k... I'm going back to sleep. Bye." And hung up.

He called back, and I answered with "I'm trying to sleep, what do you want?"

"Jeez, that was rude. Can't you just hear me out?"

"No, it's 6am and I'm trying to get some sleep."

I hung up again, and he continued to call. I picked up and hung up [b]seven[/i] times. Then finally I picked up and said "You're being really fucking inconsiderate, I'm trying to get some sleep and you keep calling me. I'm not going to talk to you right now, I'm going to try to fall back to sleep. I have my phone on in case of emergencies, so please stop calling."

He did.

But he started texting instead.

First one: Give me a chance please! ur friends scared me off but i trust ur voice and i bet ur awesome. I just want 2 find out. Im a great guy im just scared off girls anymore. U would be 2.

I said: K texting makes noise too. Conversation is a daytime activity. Please let me sleep, I have work tomorrow.

He responded: I want a friend i can trust thats all. I just thought id rather bail than take a chance. I am so sorry sorry ill let u sleep uv just been on my mind. Thats all.

Me: Cool. Seriously, stop calling/texting or I'll block your number.

At this point I finally put my phone on silent, and this is what I woke up to.

Him: I dont know why but i like u and im probably a fool but oh fucking well.

:I had the gut instinct to call u so i followed it. I hope u really have the best dreams ever! really!

:Like i said. Im sorry. Go to sleep. Yes mam!

:I guess im stupid. Who says theyre sorry. U really r a hard ass. Excuse me.

So what the fuck? Either he's REALLY fucking creepy, or somebody just fucking with me. The "yes mam" part made me think it's just somebody being a tool, but I don't know. This is really irritating me.

I thought about calling him today to tell me to stop contacting me in any way, but I don't want to contact him at all, and he knows where I hang out and I don't want him to get pissed and show up.

Carbon, I didn't ask bushy to call me. He just called from this random number, and I didn't know who it was. No message or anything.

Edit: Noah, the gay guy is another creep. But in a different way. He's just overly excitable and way too touchy feely. I was just pointing out to yoyo that it's not all about looks.

Alright, you're a fucking idiot. You LIKE the attention. Any other normal fucking person would TURN THEIR PHONE OFF. You kept answering the phone, you were responding to the texts... you like the attention. You don't want him to leave you alone. The idea of a guy being so persistent annoys you but you completely love it at the same time. So stop fucking bitching already.

But, look how many times she answered it. Was his number not displayed on her phone? If I don't want to talk to someone, I simply don't answer it. If a number is not displayed, I don't answer it. When I'm sleeping, I turn the phone off so it goes straight to voice mail. What would be so emergent for someone to call at such hours? Most people are more considerate than that.

It might sound cold, but...bad news can wait too. How many times in life is something really a life or death situation? Luckily, I don't have friends or family who live fucked up lives where I need to bail them out for a situation they've created.

If you can, get the number blocked....or report him.

long story short. if someone creepy you don't like (but who's into you) has your number and won't leave you alone (and yeah, this HAS happened to me) here are the ground rules.

DON'T answer calls from private numbers or numbers you don't know. If it's anyone important that you DO want to talk to, they'll leave a message anyway.

Let your mates know about it and have them ready to back you up if you run into the person.

Dont EVER be guilt tripped or feel bad for not talking to them, it'll just give them the wrong impression. Forget them, and move on with your life.

As long as he dosen't know what you look like. Maybe, bushy didn't tell him exactly what you look like, and gave the guy a description of another girl, because well.

Ask, him. I don't think that bushy would let shit like that happen; creepy guys, and the like.

you know?

I was half asleep, I wasn't thinking clearly.

Anyway, he called today and I ignored it, but I'm going to go file a report tomorrow.

Do you have lower bowel probs? Is that why you want an extra asshole down there? Gosh! You work at Aberzombies Bitch?

Don't you get hit on regular at work or in the mall? Isn't at least one or two of those designated hitters better than this looser? Tired of introducing your friends to 'us'? Too bad you didn't wait & just show him?!

A troll like him would fit right in...

Can you imagine the trash he'd post? It would be sick!!!1!111!

No, I don't get hit on at work. I'm not exactly the type you'd expect to see there. The most attention I get from guys there is "hey can you go fix the jeans in men's one?"

If I was a girl I would probably feel bad, go on a sympathy date. Then when he went in for a kiss I would probably turn away so he got my cheeck. Act really akward then make up an excuse to go home and never call him back and wait for the two or so weeks of him phoning me and me not phoning back for him to get the point.

With a felony on his record and obsessive calling, I don't think I'd feel comfortable being alone with him.

Ask if he's willing to play 'Ricky' to your 'Lucy'?

"Luuuuccccyyy!?"

"What Ricky?"

"Lucy. You got some 'splaaaainin' to do!"

While you're at it, you might want to scratch bushy off your list of friends...if you haven't already.

^Lol, file a report. What a bitch. Learn to handle shit yourself, otherwise working at Abercrombie is going to be the least of your worries.

You give out 'dumb slut' vibes. I can pick them up over the web, so I am sure he can pick them up in person.

See, I've never had a girlfriend, so you'd think I could identify with this guy, desperation and whatnot.

No. He's a whiny fucking loser. Kick him in the nuts.

If I fell under that category, wouldn't I have let him pick me up?

Anyway, he called 16 times today and he got *really* angry when I told him to stop. Again. He said something about me being a bitch and whatever.

Anyway, the felony on his record has something to do with violence. I think that's just a bit scary.

^Maybe you should buy a tazer gun, and everytime you feel the urge to pick up the phone you should have one of your friends (I'm sure bushy will do it) tazer you until you don't want to answer the phone.

I think that shit would work.

So has he seen your picture? He may have & thus slotted you into the 'attwactive' category?

Heck? If he knows where you work, he may have been the thpyin' on youse? Is it in a mall? Maybe he sits in a cozy spot & gawks at his new twue luvzor.

Girlszors often look quite attwactive as they wander about doing their jobszors & it do not pay to stare too long, as one may become sillily obsessed & come down with a wicked case of the dreaded Sillybillyitis?

After all? Does your job involve any 'jiggling' or 'swaying'? Make many sideways 'figure eights'? Any 'bending over' or 'stretching up'?

Not yet, I had a stressful night that involved driving a drunk friend around after her boyfriend backhanded her. Good times, right?

^Lol no you don't. You don't know the situation, knowing firekitty and knowing the dumbass friends she hangs around with. Bitch probably deserved the backhand.

Not saying I would hit a woman, just saying that in some cases I can see why men hit women. I'm now hoping firekitty sleeps with that guy so he too can backhand her.

I'm sure bushy would love to act like some bastardized version of pavlov.

Anyway firekitty, tell him you've got a new number. Then, give him my number (plus area code), and let him phone me.

I can be really..really psycho stalker like. I think that guy really needs a dose of his own medicine.
