How do you find other people that are gay? If you see a hot person of the same gender, and you have a strong feeling that they might also be gay, do you just go for it? Or do you find out first for sure whether they're gay or not?

Or do you all have some kind of underground community where you go to meet other gay people? Like a gay secret society, if you will.

Unless they're very obviously gay (which, in most cases, would mean I'm not attracted to them, as I don't like feminine guys), I make fairly sure they are before pursuing anything, because the results of not doing so can be a bit embarrassing.

well, it depends.

personally, im not one for the 'gay'-gays, im more attracted to straight men (probably the reason i dont have much sex....until they come out)

however, in the rare instance that i am in the presence of an openly gay man, its pretty much instantly clear to both parties. if you're open about being gay it means you've had to deal with non-conformist issues and you're usually quite aggressive (-->generalization), meaning you're not afraid to have direct eye contact with people. and im telling you, once you've got that eye fucking going on, you know where you're headed. and guys are sluts, theres none of that 'first date' bullshit.

but yea, gay people are normal people. they meet eachother the same way you do

take my friend for example. holloween, the poor boy thinks its a good idea to dress up as robin hood(man in tights) and go to a gay holloween parade. he somehow got separated from his lesbian bodygaurd and ended up crying on a sidewalk because in his shit faced stupor he didnt enjoy hundreds of people grabbing his dickandass.

Meh...I did try going down that road before, but when your younger people tend to experiment far more openly than when your 20+. Gay blokes tend to give a different perspective to life in general than straight blokes.

They tend to be more caring, express their feelings openly, and can give a far better view on say looks for example.

It's pretty easy to tell if someone is into you... If a girl seems attracted to me and I'm attracted to her, yea, I usually end up making the first move. But, other than that, yea, gay bars...

Exactly! Although in truth its often easier picking up gay action then hetro. Just the fact you're male and in a gay bar tends to be all you need.

Gay men who go to go gay bars are usually there to pick up and not because they enjoy paying over the odds for watered down liquor or enjoy listening to The Weather Girls on karaoki.

I don't actively seek out men, but if one came along that I liked, i'd date him. Women, on the other hand, i'm trying to perfect to an art. They're far more avaliable and numerous.

I have a really accurate gaydar so I ususally know if a girls gay or not but then at the last minute I doubt myself and wimp out of approaching her in case she's actually straight and slaps me or something... so to be honest I usually just meet girls on the internet on like myspace and stuff where is actually says on your profile what your orientation is.

God I'm sad. I should just start going to gay bars. Not that there are any near here (I live in the backwards little county of Devon Southwest England)

Gay bars would be the easiest way, I guess, or work on your gaydar, know how to notice when someone (in your case, guys) are taking more than a passing glance at you, 'sense' attraction, and go from there, I'd say.

Now, take all that with a grain of salt, I'm straight, and more or less converting what I know from going after girls to work for Gay People.
