Default Right, so...

I'm the guy who asked that chick for coffee last Wednesday and she said she couldn't that day but has been real nice to me since then. So, do I just say "Up for coffee this time?" or something like that or what? Do chicks normally say yes just to humour guys or would she flat out refuse if she didn't want to?

give it another try. but wait until you genuinely feel like it. you'll know when the moment is right, because you'll get all excited to do it. and that optimism and confidence will show through. at least, that's how it works with me. if i wait until i'm feeling really good and motivated, the guy is so much more receptive.

I'd say give it another go. If she really didnt want to go to coffee, she'd be trying to send the message by being really cold and avoiding contact.

Unless by "but has been real nice to me since then" you mean that she didnt wake up while you were taking pictures of her through the window.

Seriously though, try again. Be friendly and nice and all that good stuff.

Hate to throw it in your face, but if a girl approaches a guy, shes got pretty amazing odds of success if the guy isnt already in a relationship.

She might be busy, overloaded, has no time for dates right now. She seems like the type I think, the intellectual, work before love type.

Chat to her when you see her. Get to know her a little better, more importantly get her to get used to you a bit more, and as lauren said, don't rush to ask her out again, do it when the time is right.

You have her interest mate, that's a damn good start.
