Default Two in one; Justified? and My Apologies.

Okay, I didn't want to make two separate threads, so here we go.

First one:

There's this guy at work. He's really super gay, and very self absorbed. We've kind of been friends for a couple of months, and usually I brush off his comments concerning my appearance. Nobody else seems to have a problem with it, but he always says things like "Oh honey, you should do your hair," or "wow, did you roll out of bed and come to work?"

He has also grabbed my shirt and pretended like he was going to lift it up, started dancing with me in a REALLY inappropriate fashion, and just says things that make me really uncomfortable... and it's hard to offend me by joking, but he does.

It's hard enough working in a store where appearance is everything, but I do what I need to do to look nice. I don't own many things from the store, because they're expensive and they fall apart, and it's not really my style. But since I decided not to go on a trip I'd planned, I'll have extra money to spend on these clothes and stuff, so I won't wear the same two outfits to work... which isn't his business anyway, as half the people there wear the same thing every time they work.

I finally told him I didn't want his opinion anymore, and he freaked out and started saying I looked like shit and he's a grown ass man, and will speak when he pleases. He kept being extremely rude and calling me pathetic and dumb, so I finally said "alright, that's enough. I'm going to go talk to Bethany" (she's a manager).

I talked to her and said I didn't think it was enough to file a harrassment complaint, but she said that it was definitely harrassment and would talk to the GM about it (which I'd rather her not, I don't want to bitch and moan to him... it might negate all the ass kissing I've done over the past few weeks). When I came out of the office he was there calling me pathetic and saying "Don't take your insecurities out on me."

Whether or not Bethany talks to the GM, I have the option to file a complaint. I don't want to be a complete bitch about it, but it's gotten to the point where I can't get him to stop, and it *really* bothers me. Should I just ignore it and hope that a warning is good enough, or actually do something about it?

And part two.

I want to apologize for all the real life drama that has been brought into S&A. I made the mistake of introducing real life friends to totse, and befriending people from the site. I'm okay with a couple of them, but the combination of all of us on Totse clearly has not worked out, and if there are anymore arguement concerning me or my real life friends, I'm going to take a long break from S&A.

1.) I think it would be more than reasonable to file a complaint if he's bothering you that much.

2.) I was about to make a thread about the same thing. Any differences that people have need to be worked out in real life, not in fucktarded internet fights.

I think it is alright to file a complaint, as long as you actually told him that he was bothering you a lot and that you wanted him to stop, in a reasonable manner. However, I tend to try not to make a deal out of anything and just tolerate whatever comes my way. In this case though, he is definitely taking it far enough over the line to merit a formal complaint.

The fact that its causing your work life to be affected is enough to complain, and if he is reacting negatively when you tell him how its making you feel, then totally go to the manager.

Failing that, get someone to push him in front of the subway. He sounds like a major fuckbag.

One thing to be careful of, is that he probably uses his gayness as a weapon, just waiting for someone to say anything that he can use against them. He gets all in your face acting like a prick, then when you get frustrated and say something awful reflexively, he has the whole human rights thing to (officially) fire back with. I've known some ridiculously frustrating passive-agressive assholes who push you with the intention of making you react in a way that they can say "ohhh, verbal assualt! me victim!!!" to.

You seem pretty cool, but all the same, be careful. If you keep your cool you can probably get his stupid ass fired.

I've kept my mouth shut for two months or so, because I thought it was just him fucking around.

But it's really grating on my self image when I have him telling me *every fucking day* that I look like hell. Nobody else seems to think so.

He's just such a shallow person. Not even in the "oh looks are everything" way. Like, when you tell him something, it doesn't really sink in. I've told him multiple times to stop because he made me uncomfortable, but he never listened.

He's already tried the "I'm being a friend by telling you what's wrong" and "I could have been a dick when I first met you, but I befriended you."

And my favorite "yeah, you really do look like shit. But I didn't want to say it like that."

The only reason I said anything though is because he called me pathetic and insecure. Then strengthened my case when he did it in front of the manager.

Some people...

File the complaint. It isn't worth your time to have to deal with someone like that.

You've already brought it to their attention, so you can't deal with it on your own. He could easily file a complaint on you if you try to do anything else to deal with him.

And.

No worries about the drama. It's all part of life.

I guess if you tried using a second account your friends would know if they know a lot about your personal business, so that wouldn't help much.

Euda is right. Either that, or find a job elsewhere.

Umm... you work in retail. Part of the job is to deal with assholes. And gay guys, entertaining as they are and as much as I love them... are huge pricks most of the time. Actually, they're bitches. Tell him to fuck off. Or get a real job.

Tell me, please, where might I find the time for a "real job?"

Part of retail is, of course, dealing with assholes. That's why I didn't say anything for two months, but taking shit from customers is one thing. From employees is another.

Corrupting his bent ways with your eggy estrogeny goodness? He's afraid you'll cause his balls & his voice to drop? Turn him in a strutin' macho-man instead of a prancing girlyman?

The only issue I'm having with this is that for awhile, I didn't ask him to stop.

If I didn't ask him to stop, it's not harrassment. By their standards.

But then when I did, he got persistant. I would finally back down and say okay, whatever.

But christ, my mom's having issues with her boyfriend and he's taking it out on me, my dad and his wife are accusing me of stealing things, all that real life drama brought onto totse is only half of it, not to mention there's a small chance I could be pregnant. I mean, there are worse things that could happen but this is all very stressful. I don't need criticism when I go into work, and I'm absolutely terrified to talk to the GM about this. I need money to pay for school, and the more ass I kiss, the more hours I get, and the sooner I get a raise. Now I'm afraid he might think I'm bitching and moaning and starting shit.

Not to mention he's FINE. And our conversations have just started going beyond "Hi how are you?" and "Hey, can you go maintain women's sale?"

FireKitty, I dont see how *YOU* would be the one to be 'causing shit' when some asshole acts like a complete shitbag to you.

And really, unless you're a fucking supermodel, how can your appearance be that bad, and why would it matter?

Basic rules in my workplace are that you A-turn up on time,B-turn up,C-be relatively tidy,D-and relatively sober and E-pay for the stuff you want. That's it.

No where in any company rule book does it say

'F-take shit from the generic bitchy faggot.'

No where.

I know it's bad to back down over this, but if your job is so stressfull and horrible and that superficial, you'd be better off making burgers for families of obese people, or doing manual evacuations on bad tempered old people with a tendency to fingerpaint with things they really shouldnt.

I really fucking loathe gay guys that feel they really have to play that fashion wise hip bitchy shit. It's so will and grace it makes me want to fucking vomit.

I think today I have to talk to the GM about it.

I'm just going to my myself look super awesome or something. Be like "yeah... so what was that you were saying about my looks?"

The only problem is he sort of has a point. I wear the same two outfits to work, simply because I don't want to spend too much money on abercrombie. I mean... the clothes are so shitty, they're not that attractive, and they fall apart. I am going to get clothes this weekend, because every couple of months we get half off of five things, when the fashion we're supposed to wear changes. But I follow the look policy and whatnot, it's not like I come in with makeup from the night before smeared all over my face.

You work at abercrombie........that explains this whole thread. Just complain about him harasasing you, and he'll get dealt with. Don't buy their shitty overpriced clothing, and don't bother wearing more than 2 different outfits to work, because it's work. Really, you're there to make money, not blow it all on stupid shit.

Welcome to anti-agression, CarbonB, I hope you enjoy your stay my friend.

Oh and another point I must make: If nobody was an attention whore, nothing would get done. To attract attention is to achieve power to enable you to coerce entire situations. Nothing wrong with that. It's how you do it that counts.

What are you rambling about? You think attention is what gives you power? Lol, there are behind the scenes people that receive zero attention, but actually possess the power.

And the point wasn't expressing myself, it was the ability to get a point across without saying/writnig anything. If I had that ability I would probably be extremely rich.

Otherwise I don't really see the relevance to your post? Other than you saying welcome to the anti-agression zone.

Well how about I welcome you to the Thunderdome bitch, and the door closes with you and me inside. Two men enter, one man leaves.

Fuck off fatty, he goddamn nailed you, and you're not going to derail YET ANOTHER thread by making YOURSELF the center of attention rather than the OP.

This behaviour is the reason why you should be banned from totse. WHATEVER your motives are (stab's thesis about attention whoring happens to be the prime suspect), your behaviour is qualitatively identical to trolling.

You've been exposed, either fuck off quietly or keep it up until I have enough evidence for an admin to ban you. I'm going to be saving copies of threads like this for the proposal to admins, so you know in advance.

Carbon B, why are you in such a tizz? Did your bitch-tits get stabbed repeatedly by poor wiring in the push-up? Awww.

Firekitty, general annoying people are the reason my job in retail only lasted a week. I just can't hack whinging customers as well as the employees at some places.

Your situation sounds particularly bad however, and this guy really doesn't seem to get the point. When he tries talking to you, tell him to leave you alone, as you really don't need him in your face/life at this time. Carry on working things out with the GM, they'll probably have delt with "somewhat" similar situations...hopefully they'll either keep this asshole away from you, or fire him maybe even?

You have to stand up for yourself in situations like this, no point in letting other people with issues steam-roller you.

And this guy doesn't sound anything like a "steriotypical" gay guy imo, just a real irritating, shallow cunt, who also happens to be gay. Oh well

First off referencing the Thunderdome is not lame. You making fucking monologues and talking about shit that makes EVERYONE realize you're a fucking nerd is.

Point proven? His thesis on attention whoring was a theory, theory doesn't mean fact. Who gives a shit if you want to ban me.

Just another little whiney cunt who can do nothing but OBSESS and save copies of my threads?

You probably read them while touching yourself at night imagining what it would be like to meet me. Too bad you are too much of a loser to realize that your poor excuse of attempts just makes you look like a little bitch.

Worry less about me and trying to get me banned, and more about not being a complete dork.

Pushup bra? Wow....why would I want to excentuate my tits if I was a guy? Don't you think I would rather want to hide them?

Good attempt though, your logic failed, so you fail. Thunderdome bitch, I'll be waiting and I'll say it from now on just to piss off the fucking nerd.

Guys, arguing with Carbon is only feeding into what he wants. You won't prove anything to him, just be satisfied with your own opinion and allow him to have his. You're getting worked up over something you (hopefully) don't even think about when you're not sitting in front of the computer.

Heh, there was a time when I enjoyed flaming/arguing on totse, but I'm over it. It's a waste of time and energy, and generally both people involved are too ignorant to open their minds to what the other person is trying to say. So please, just drop it.

And on that note, I think after this I'll be taking a break from totse... or at least, S&A. I'm tired of all the immaturity and arguing. I might be in a little bit, but I'm going to try to keep my posting very limited.

Part one: Now, i agree with the part where you shouldnt file a complaint. Its not worth it unless your manager doesnt do something about it. Just wait. Now your better then the extremly gay man who keeps bothering you, since it seems all he wants is attention. dont worry, everything will be fine.

Part two: Dont worry, we all still love you.

He apologized, and he seemed genuinely sorry. Whether or not he was... eh. He managed to keep his critical comments to a nice tone of voice today, so whatever. I don't want to deal with it anymore.

And Carbon, do I not have a life? I go to class, work at least 30 hours a week, sometimes more, and when I have time I hang out with friends. Is there much more to do than that? I mean, yeah, I spend time on Totse. At night when none of my friends are even awake to hang out. I can't get overnight hours at abercrombie (already tried) so there's not a whole lot else to do.

Oh, and fullcircle when I want a nerds opinion I'll write it into the script of Star Trek: Deep Space 9 and have you quote it back to me. Got it bitch?

I'm not trying to discourage you. Just letting you know you're wasting your time.

Anyway... you really need to stop trying to play it off like you're "cooler" than him - as if that matters anyway. You did reference the thunderdome, which was just pathetic.

I seem to think that it's one of his favourite movies.

Nothing wrong with that, different people have different tastes.

If this keeps being about a movie, I'll have to see if someone will move it to Moving Pictures.

I think I used the words pointless, unhepful and rude, so cheers for reading my post properly

And my forums are run very well, I don't see all 3 having any problems (and how do you think I managed to become a mod of 3 forums if I was such a crap mod )

I wasn't saying there were logic holes in the Thunderdome. I was saying you were asking people to fight you in the Thunderdome for finding holes in your logic. I honestly don't know if you had any holes in your arguments, your replies were so angry and defensive, I got bored of them. I just noticed a lot of people said they were pwning you.

Where did you pull this latest strategy of calling me a nerd from? Your ass? Is it because you can't think of anything else to insult me with?

I'm serious. Tell me exactly why you call me a nerd.

CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING TO INSULT YOU WITH!?! BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!

This coming from the mother fucker who the only thing he could say to me was that I was either fat, or I'm a repressed homosexual.

Funny, you fucking hypocritical bitch. I think you are a nerd, this in no way means that I AM NOT A DORK EITHER! Just to point that out since firekitty is dense as a fucking log.

It means that the things you say, and the comments you make come across as fucking nerdy/dorky.

Thunderdome is not a nerdy movie, you are a dumbass if you think so, and are now suspect. Also MadMax isn't my favorite movie, and if you want to find out my favorite movies just browse my posts in Moving Pictures.

It isn't some new conceived plan, you are a nerd, you come off like a nerd, and I think that if we are going to insult each other, and you are going to make up random bullshit about me, I might as well return the favor.

Now fuck off, and please give me a reply that further emphasizes how much of a geek you are.

Yeah, OK.

I really am a nerd.

Like when I post on totse I tend to be listening to my extensive collection of underground hip hop on a hifi system that cost over three thousand dollars.

And I have really nerdy habits that eat up a large chunk of my money, such as amps, booze and weed.

Nerdiest of all is how I get on with girls, I've only got this one girl who I've got a strange semi-going out/semi fuckfriend thing with, who has one of the best asses I've ever seen (that she lets me fuck sometimes too).

I'm such a nerd that it defies belief.

Oh and touche on your post, if you read it again slowly you'll notice that you said you were making up "random bullshit" when you called me a nerd - here's a tip, in future your insults will be more effective if you don't call them "random bullshit" that you made up.

I don't recall anyone saying the movie itself was nerdy. I think fullcircle just meant you're a nerd for deciding to fight someone in a fictitious battle arena.

Ficticious? That shit is in my backyard bitch. Oh, but thanks for the assumption.

I am well aware that I said random bullshit fullcircle, you don't have to tell me what I said. Who gives a shit if you are or aren't a nerd, it isn't if it is true or not, it is whether or not it gets under your skin.

Which evidently it does, because you made an entire post trying to prove otherwise.

Lol, Bill Gates gets model pussy too, Bill Gates probably has a $300,000 sound system in his house that he listens to hip-hop on, and he probably has more amps, booze, and weed than you could muster up in the pea-sized brain of yours.

Is he still a gigantic fucking nerd? Yes...so please before you sit here and try to make it seem like I don't know what I'm saying, or I don't know what I write in my own fucking posts.

Just take a step back, look at it in retrospect and try and decide if I am going to come back and make you look like a complete ass.

And the answer to that out of body experience is yes. I will always make you look like an ass.

This new attempt at insulting me is just as generic and ineffective as when you used to call me gay, but I'll give you a cookie for at least making some effort.

I look forward to your next offering.

So you actually built the Thunderdome in your backyard? Wow. Anyone who spends that much money on an obsession with something made up in a movie is even nerdier than the guy who just pretends to go there. Then you're a nerd who wastes money.

And yes, I understood you weren't being serious, but it still made you look ridiculous for pretending to have the Thunderdome in your backyard.
