Re: scars
I have one at the end of my eyebrow that I got several years ago in a merry-go-round accident.
I can, however, say without lying I was smacked senseless in the face with a steel bar and I didnt get knocked out or even know I was bleeding!

Re: scars
I don't know, but I think that a big knife slash scar down one cheek would be sexy on a girl. That's face cheek, by the way.

Re: scars
it wouldn't be a turn off. however i'd wonder what the cause was, and if it was self-inflicted that would be cause for concern.

no, the straight lines are from broken bottles/knives in fights, and the cig burns are from a shotgun blast that skimmed your arm.
now say it with me, the straight lines are from broken bottles/knives in fights, and the cig burns are from a shotgun blast that skimmed your arm.

this man knows what he's talking about.
And no, I don't think self mutilation would be sexy to the majority.

Re: scars
It depends on the girl. Some would be disgusted, some curious, some scared, some full of pity, and some understanding.
I have a tiny scar on my elbow, not self-inflicted and it's only apparent when I have a good tan, that occasionally gets reactions based on the story that goes with it.

Re: scars
i have never found any girls to have a serious issue with me having scars on my arm...
often i get asked about it, but no one is really bothered.
But thats probably cuz theyre so old, fresh cuts or recent scars i think would have a different effect on people.

Re: scars
I've got a scar on my hand from letting a freight elevator take advantage of me.
It starts about 2cm below my ring finger and is probably about 6cm long.
Unfortunately, it looks like a flower, and that is an open invitation for people to decorate it with ballpoint pens.

Re: scars
I have a scar on my chest that my ex-girlfriend used to love. It doesn't even have a story attached to it, I have no idea how I got it.

Re: scars
No. My boyfriend has the worst self inflicted scars i've ever seen and it's not a "turn off".
But i match him more or less, so I'm sure that contributes to it.
Honetsly, it probably would freak most girls out.
