I got out of a 2 year relationship in late july and its hard as hell getting over all of it. When you date a girl for 2 years, you get into routines. Then all of a sudden that comes to an end and everything changes. I just dont feel attracted to anyone. Sure I still LOVE girls, and I see hot girls as hot, but when I think about any kind of dating it just sends my mind packing. I dont know. It feels like this past relationship has actually ruined dating for me. I see girls differently now, and I mean VERY different. I always seem to find things wrong with them and its off to someone else. I dont wtf is wrong with me.

I broke up early Febuary and I feel exactly the same way.

It feels like my love circuits have burned out and now nothing seems as good.

yea that's rough man.. it hasn't even been 3 full months since you guys broke up, and 2 years is a long time.. you just aren't ready to jump back into the scene yet. give it some more time, until at least christmas.

The dude I broke up seemed so close to perfect - too good to be true. That's a very long and messed up story - but now I am almost convinced that even though I might find other guys that I really like, I won't find anybody else that matches me so well in every way. :/

I think there is always a soft spot for somebody when you have cared so deeply for them. Like a ..'space in your heart" for them.

It's just no good. There's not much to be done, but stay hopeful and have fun.

Same here, that was pretty much a summary of me. Im not sitting around wallowing in my sadness though. I go out with my friends as much as possible and try to stay social.

I just got out of a 2year relationship. It's horrible.

I just.. feel very 'meh' like. And cant imagine ever dating again, just because I can see history repeating.

And really, what's the point in dating? They're all the same. There will be the same dramas and problems and all that bullshit I just cant be bothered with anymore.

I didnt realize so many were in the same position as me. I just hate the feeling I have all the time. Like a few of you, I just dont see a point in dating when theres such a SMALL chance of anything coming from it (eh marriage) which I do not want anytime soon.

Then take a break. There's nothing saying you have to be in a relationship.

More or less. Love is just too much of a rollercoaster to miss out on.

The fact that we can cruedely explain it doesn't change that it's the best thing we've got.

Yep. Im not planning on ANY kind of relationship for quite a while.

I got out of a long relationship about 5 weeks ago now, and I know that isn't much time, but I'm still not used to it.

Last night, for the first time since the break-up, I went out with a different girl. She came back to my room, stayed here until about 3 am and we had a good time.

Still, I can't stop thinking about my ex.
