Wrong to cry?
Is it wrong to cry if you're a guy?
I just broke up with my girlfriend of 3 years and that's some hard shit to do man...
I wish I had some weed or something, this sucks.

Re: Wrong to cry?
Nope, not at all. You're only a fag if you cry at the most inappropriate times, I.E you got hit in the head with a bottle, or you're not allowed to do something. Other than that, emotions are emotions and there isn't much you can do to controll them.

Re: Wrong to cry?
Man it's fine to cry as long as nobody else sees.
Just like Eric Bana says, 'Nobody but your wife should see you cry'.
Tough break man, but if you're alone, let it out. That's what being alone is for, in times like this.
Feel better man, you'll be fine soon, I guarantee it.

Lol about 10 tears total and it was good. Being on the phone was the hard part... and I shouldn't feel bad if I'm doing the breaking right?
Ah well... I picked up the guitar and played some blues.. Wrote a new song. Need new strings though... yeash.

Re: Wrong to cry?
Just think, if you had a heavy east asian accent you would pronounce the thread title "wong 2 kwy?".
I fail to see how that can't cheer you up.

It's acceptable to cry over a girl who you have been with for over eight months.

You're allowed to feel bad if you're doing the breaking. Sometimes you have to do things you don't wanna do, and that feels bad.
Ahh, a blues guitarist! I generally write really sad country/rock songs, or really upbeat country/folk songs, or hard rock (Sabbath style) on my electric when it has strings.
What gear have you got?

Re: Wrong to cry?
i cried in front of my x twice.
once amid an outlandishly bad trip when she showed up to help me calm down(huge dose of a strong disassociative, alone, 8hrs long, alone, yea).
and when she broke up with me sitting on the same area of grass in the cemitary we used to go to when we first were together(the same place where i felt my first tit lol.the joy of inexperiance heh)

Re: Wrong to cry?
Absolutely nothing wrong with crying if its something relatively big like that, i've cried a few times with my girlfriend and also at funerals for close family members. Just so long as its not for some pissy reason, dont make it public though :P.

Re: Wrong to cry?
Obviously it's not, it's natural. I don't think you need anyone to tell you that.
I'm sorry none the less, you'll get better. Life isn't over.

Re: Wrong to cry?
it'll be okay, just cry and get it all out, i dont cry and it isn't healthy to hold it in but i just dont show emotion infront of others. But let it out and you'll feel better.

Re: Wrong to cry?
it's perfecty fine. in fact, it's very good for you if you do it within reason.
just let yourself go, you'll feel 1000x better afterwards. it's exactly like puking when you're too wasted.
