OK OK...i know this is a stupid question, and i know that ovulation is about 14 days after the period...but is it possible to become pregnant if one has sex during the period.....and lets say that a morning after pill is taken....what are the chances....im going with it being virtually impossible to get prego's during the period and add to that a morning after pill....but id love some confirmation.

I'm pretty sure you can get pregnant whatever day of the month it is, just at some points its a much higher chance than at others.

A woman can get pregnant at any time of the year.

Unless she's had her ovaries removed or something

There's less of a chance if she takes the morning after pill

but that makes them feel horrid, so it's not really worth it

Just use a fucking condom

A woman has a the greatest chance of pregnancy right before her period starts or right after it ends. Women only release an egg one day out of the month; generally right before or after her menstral cycle. But this does not mean that an will not release during the menstral period.

Oh! And lets not forget that sperm can live inside the vagina for 7 days. If you came in her today, and seven days from now she releases that egg, you could be in very big trouble(depending on how you look at the situation).

So just to be on the safe side.. ALWAYS USE A CONDOM.

From what I can tell, it is possible. just as it's possible to die from slipping every time you leave the shower or die from choking every time you eat. In other words, possible, but highly unlikely. I don't know why so many men think sex on a girl's period is so disgusting, I never really minded. If you want to be safe, use a condom. But I hate condoms with a burning passion.

Ughhh I had a nice little scare last night/this morning.

I just ended my period thursday, then had sex yesterday (really, like 6am today). The condom broke so I talked to planned parenthood about the morning after pill, and they said that since I just ended, there's a very small chance I'm pregnant.

But... get the morning after pill anyway.
