Default I feel like theres a huge party scene I'm missing

Ok first let me say, I am a normal guy. I have a gf, am a freshman in highschool. I run XC, wrestle, and run track.

I have been to two parties so far this year. I used to get invited all the time over the summer, but I couldn't make it a lot (I blew off a lot of fireworks, got caught groudned. My parents are paranoid, and changed the alarm code and set it before they go to bed.) It seems people just stopped inviting me though. How can I break back into this scene.

Your entire post was completely not understandable.

And I am sure there are parties and stuff I'm not being invited to, asking won't do much. Is there a way to break back in.

(On a side note is there a way to flash the BIOs on an alarm system so it won't work, I assume it wouldn't have a lot of local protection, to protect it from people inside the house)

W.T.F.

Uh... and back to the main point, yea, "ask around". It doesn't really get any easier than that. You have to learn how to network and how to talk to people. I go to lot's of parties just because I network well.

Cheers,

Lost

You're a freshman. Relax. You have plenty of time to go to parties. You shouldn't expect to get invited to upperclassmen parties when you're a freshman, either. It'll get better as HS progresses.

yeah freshman in HS for christ sake.. you are only 14, unless you are tight with upperclassmen who have cars you probably won't be hitting up the party scene that much anyway.. how can you navigate around and find bashes when you don't even have a ride?? have your parents drop you off?? lol.

I didn't really start going to alot of parties until I got to college, and really the scene isn't that great. as a matter of fact mos of the time I'd rather jus chill with a few of my homeboys or with a chick 1 on 1.

You just have to know and be liked by alot of people.

It especially helps if you can provide something. This can be your vibrant personality and sense of humor, money, a car, drugs and/or alcohol, a vagina, etc...

Luckily I only need my "vibrant personality and sense of humor", so I get all the rest covered because of that.

But the most important thing is knowing lots of people. Network & ask around, like already mentioned.

Eventually (if you do things right), you will be the party.

This has to be the best advice with a semi-hidden meaning.

When you start talking to people, and asking around.. becoming good friends with people who have parties.. and are on good enough terms to invite other people to this party.. then you become the party.

When you know where the next party is gonna be, and people find out you know when the next party is gonna be, people start asking YOU where the party's at.

Just network man.. it's a great life skill. be friendly but not tooo friendly. be easy to like, and very noticeable.

Boo fucking Hoo. I'm a senior and I have never been invited, or gone to, a party in my entire life. Never smoked, drank, nothing. Shit, I've never even kissed a girl.

^ Boo fucking hoo.

There probably IS a scene you're missing out on. And once you're in -that- scene, there'll be -another- scene you're missing out on. Repeat until face explodes.

Why don't you throw a party. That will get you in good with people and then they'll start inviting you places. Or you can just be THE Party House. Thats what I did.

At first I never got invited anywhere, so I just started having my group of friends over (anywhere from 1-5 people). By the end of high school, on the weekends there were always at least about 20 people at my house and at least 8-10 cases of beer. Its even carried over into college. People know where I live and always come over.

Parties suck, they're really not all that good. If you have a GF then don't stress, guys really only go to parties to try and get laid anyway.

And @ the people saying Boohoo my life is a worse shithole: By your logic a paraplegic has no cause to be upset just because some people are quadraplegic. Your posts add nothing to the thread, and whether or not you are worse off this guy has a problem and wants advice - even if his problem is shitty the thread is relatively original and brings up interesting topics, and just like the only brave dickhead in maths who will ask a question, who knows how many other people have clicked here and left a little wiser.
