Help Me Out, Guys.
I know my threads have been more or less clogging up S&A, but I'm knew at the whole "I like him, she likes me" bullshit.
Anyways, I asked Sarah out to homecoming last Thusday (Friday was off), and she said yes. Her friend, Jean, talked to me this Monday and asked "So... do you like Sarah?" I replied "yes, I do." And she replied that Sarah liked me, too. This is the first real time that a girl's actually liked me (probably not, but I like to think of it this way). So I asked Jean if I should ask her out and she said that I totally should, but after homecoming.
So, long story short, I asked Sarah; "Hey, wanna do something Saturday?" because I was impatient, and Sarah replied "Sure." And a different friend said (who was with her at the time), as I was walking away, "It's called Homecoming!" (As homecoming happens to be this Saturday.)
Did I do something wrong?

Re: Help Me Out, Guys.
She probably meant take her to the dance and just go from there. You don't ask a girl to do shit after the dance until you're already there and having fun. Good luck with it though.

Re: Help Me Out, Guys.
It's just a little embaressing, as you did ask her to homecoming...no worries though. Depending on if everything goes smoothly on saturday, ask her out.

Re: Help Me Out, Guys.
The reason why I'm worried is actually because when I told two guys about this after school, they were like "She said 'Sure'?" And they were looking at me as if I had killed someone. They said that I should've waited "after homecoming."
Whatever.

Re: Help Me Out, Guys.
No haha, its fine. You're better off then I was in highschool already lol. As far as what her friend said don't worry about it, it was a joke. Go party with her after homecoming or hang out the next day or something. Seriously just don't overthink it, I still have that problem, its really easy to totally psych yourself out if you keep worrying about doing things wrong and you will just not be any fun.

Re: Help Me Out, Guys.
Yeah, I mean, I have a damn headache right now because I constantly feel like I've fucked something up.
