One of the mates of my kids has been accused of rape. He's 14/15. The DA hasn't reached a decision as to whether to charge him or not yet.

Like i said, i'm damn sure he is innocent (i know the girl in question too). But you would think that the way 'mud sticks' etc that he'd be an outcast, a pariah and not the hottest property going.

The weird thing is, some of the girls think he did do it. Some are even friends with the girl in question...

Edit: My personal opinion is that most people on death row are guilty. Some of them aren't, but the ones who aren't probably did something just as bad to get them there. I mean, who among us hasn't done something worthy of being killed for it? The point being, I generally believe the accused as guilty, if not for this specific crime for other previous unpunished crimes. Had they been a perfectly upstanding citizen they probably wouldn't've found themselves in such a situation.
