I wanted to know, how important is the guys tan to a woman?

I am really pale and am contemplating going to the salon just once to get a bit more color. (I don't burn much I actually tan, but get REALLY light during the winter).

I am sure if I just go once it will give me a little color and it won't look TOO fake.

I know it sounds gay but I am quite self-conscious about my skin color. What do the girls think?

I prefer pale men. But all girls are different. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm super pale (and I don't tan at all!) and no guy has ever turned me down because of it. And would never turn a guy down just because he's tanned.

Also, you need to go more than once to get a tan, not to mention the skin cancer risk.

I wouldn't bother.

Yum yum. I like pale.

But it depends on stuff like haircolour, how you dress, how weird it would be for you to suddenly turn up tanned, etc.

Ask people that actually know you for opinions, I doubt anyone here will be able to give any sort of advice, seeing as they don't know you.

Yeah whatever, every girl i know finds pale guys unattractive.

I suggest you try and get a tan. It'll help you in the long run, trust me.

Being tan and not being tan...It really doesnt matter to me.

I don't think it would matter. Unless you were unhealthy pale, then maybe.

I'm naturally tanned. A rather light-skinned spic. I wouldnt want to be any lighter or darker. Yay for me.

i feel retarded when i'm pale. i'm a dude.

i'm outside a lot, so i have a pretty dark tan going.. makes me feel better about how i look forreal.

For me, I prefer being tanned. I find the majority of girls are attracted to tannd guys. Someone who's tanned looks healthier (healthy 'glow' with a tan) and like he takes care of himself better, therefore a better provider, and instinct jumps in there for women.

I'm slightly tanned on my arms/neck/etc. and very, very lightly on my shoulders and back/chest. I'll hit up a tanning salon a few times soon to even it out and darken a bit. A decent tan also serves to bring out muscle and whatnot, so you look bigger tanned.

During the winter when I'm really white I don't notice, but when i get that first really good tan in the summer, I look back on pics of myself when I'm pale and I think that I look disgusting. Maybe not a dark tan but a little color over pale any day.

I prefer pale, or sort of dirty looking? Just whatever comes naturally to you.

I really am not keen on tans.

If you're a cool person who I like anyway, It wont matter. But if I see a guy in the street with one of those disgusting hideous fake orange tans, It's all I can do not to turn away with a look of disgust on my face.



Natural tans are okay, I guess. But I think that people who have nothing better to do than sit on a beach/sunbed for hours on end are a bit boring, really.

Natural tan FTW, orange tans FTL. Those cream/spray on tans look horrible, IMO. I hate fake tans on girls, and on guys it just makes them look desperate/trying too hard for it somehow. Light tan is fine by me, natural is best but a light-med. booth tan is fine, more or less what I'm going for.

You shouldn't worry about whether or not girls like you because you're tan, because you look like a fucking tool. Fix that, then worry about the tan.

I actually couldnt' care any more or less about a tan, it's nothing important. I'm outside quite a fair bit and I guess i'm a little tan... But i dont care, its not all that great.

Im a huge waterpolo player - i have a crazy speedo tan. Some girls find it really sexy, some dont. Its really hard to call, but you shouldnt be to self concious about it. I was untill i learned that nobody really cares, especially when its a pretty embaracing tan in some respects.

i have that swimtrunk type tan line. (starting from pube line down to my lower mid thigh) i think i need to add more color to it cause i dont want to freak any girl out by looking dark and then when my pants come off itll be like WHITE!!

tanned/pale girls could both be sexy, but chicks probably dont dig pale guys, cuz pale GUYS really look gay. you see, girls like muscular guys MOSTLY. Is pale anywhere close to "muscular"? NO ITS FUCING PUSSY
