problem
So say a while back you liked this girl (and she likes you too), but you were friends with her friends and didn't ask her out because it would have fucked with the friendships. Some time later, things change, you're talking to the girl again, and you find yourself liking her. You try to hint at it but she doesn't seem to pick up. You're pretty sure she's not ignoring it. Keep trying or move on? Wait for her to respond? What would you say? How would you go about it?
Keep in mind that you really like this girl. Opinions?

Re: problem
I want to say keep trying, but the last time I did that, I got so horribly burned. If you've got the confidence and are prepared for a potential of humiliation, then pursue her. Or play it safe because if she was still into you, she probably would have responded by now...I'm not sure. My personal experience with this is twisting my views...*head explodes*

Re: problem
Basically, we went camping with a bunch of friends two weekends ago. I had a second alone with her and I told her I wanted apologize for being an ass about some things in the past. She said it's cool. I told her that I was actually going to ask her out then but because of the whole thing that happened with her friends and me (the part about me being an ass, yeah) I ended up not doing it. She had this "woah I had no idea" kind of expression. I don't know. But it kind of died after that and I didn't say anything else. We're still cool as friends, like she didn't think anything of it, which obviously wasn't my intended reaction.. oh well.

Re: problem
Yeah, it sounds like she's moved on.
My friend (that I fell in love with and went after) kept on telling me that he didn't want to ruin our friendship and he didn't know if he wanted a relationship he needed time to think blah blah blah. I guess just because he didn't want to actually say: "I'M NOT INTO YOU!!!", you know?

Re: problem
well that is indeed vague. you can give it another go. restart the dialogue where you left off. and say you still kind of want to ask her out. if her reaction isn't delight, drop the issue and say "nevermind actually, it wouldn't be a good idea since i want to remain friends." then change the subject.

Re: problem
Forget her and find someone else who doesn't come with all that emotional baggage.
