I just checked, I exaggerated a little bit on accident. It's $18.99 for a pair of Levi 501's, the ones with the red tab and buttons instead of zippers . That's at the Levi outlet store down the street, at normal places it's around $22.99-$24.99. This got off topic...

On the subject of just how expensive life in the UK is:

This evening , after the shops had shut, i ran out of tobacco. So i walked the mile into town (it's called "ADDICTION",people) and got a pack of smokes from the vending machine in a pub.

£5.50 for a pack of 17!

That's $10.29 US.

Or about 16 DM/8 Euros.
