You ask them a bunch of questions about themselves, show genuine interest, and then once the conversation turns to something that interests you they leave.

Perhaps I rattle on too much, but surely my interest should be reciprocated.

i kinda find the same problem, but like we talk about anything, even that shit top that started up in totse started us talkin, but like ever 5 mins she asks if i like her, and i answer,

but she never seems to say anything about me, i dont care to much, because its proly akward seeing as im stealing her from her bf, but still.

What interests you?

Find a girl that isn't a self centered shallow ditz if you want real conversation. This is, however, much easier said than done.
