Gift card retention and You??
So what do you do with greeting cards from loved ones/friends after the occasion is over? Do you throw them out instantly? Do you keep them for a while, then chuck em? Or do you archive them according to an esoteric system in a filing cabinet built especially for the purpose of card-storage?
Can you tell me the reason why you do this? My ex-girlfriend used to get really shitty at the fact that I keep them for about a week, then chuck them. I thought she was weird, then I met a girl who has kept all her birthday cards since, well, birth.

Re: Gift card retention and You??
I've kept all mine since forever, but that's because I'm a sentimental freak who can't throw anything out that has attached memories, hence why I have a cupboard full of toys and gadgets where I should put clothes and stuff.
I don't look at them though. At the moment they're stuffed in drawers, and the next time I'll look at them is when I'm doing another clean out of my room.

Re: Gift card retention and You??
i chuck them after about a week. unless they're really sweet or have directions on how to get somewhere in them.
i have enough junk lying around, i don't need hallmark to add to it. just because i'm a girl doesn't mean i want to hang on to useless stuff.
