paranoid
Well there's a girl that I've been interested in for a couple weeks now. Somethin about her just makes me genuinely happy, which is something I really haven't experienced in some time. This past week I've been told by her friend that she likes me and was asked if I was worth her breaking up with her boyfriend over. I told her yes and I guess she did. So we've hung out a lot this week and I've been feeling great and I know it's because of her. I meant to ask her out last night, but things didn't go as planned. I asked if she wanted to hang out so we hung out with some people at my buddy's house. My idea was to get her alone and ask her out. Well after about 20 minutes of boredom, she left abruptly. I asked where she was goin, what she planned on doing tonight. She didn't answer the first but told me she was gonna come back. After about 10 minutes her friend calls me askin what was in the weed we smoked. I told her it was the same shit we always have and ask why, to which she answers that the girl I'm interested in was throwing up blood. I told her it could have been something she ate or it's in her head and that it's prob not the buds. She told me not to call her or ask her about it because she prob didn't want me to know. After I finish talking to her, I figure fuck that, she's not gonna be mad at me for caring, she'll be mad at her friend for telling, so I call her. No answer. I haven't talked to her since but I left her a message saying that I want to spend some time alone with her today to talk about some things, which is when I plan to ask her out.
I can't shake the feeling that I blew my chance by waiting too long or that her friend was lying and she was up to somethin else. I really can't help it because of my paranoia, but any reassurance or advice would be appreciated, I'm really not sure what I'm going to say to her if we end up alone tonight. I just know I don't wanna lose this one, things have been changing for the better for me lately, and I have a really good feeling about her.

Re: paranoid
If she was coughing up blood, and she knew you liked her, she might think that you spiked her weed in order to rape her or some shit.
And of course she wont believe you when you say you didnt.
Does this even have any relevance to your post (as I only quickly skim read it)?

Re: paranoid
Best thing to do is just remain calm. Ask her out next time you see her, and forget about what the friend told you. Be confident, and don't be paranoid. You can't be paranoid this early on!! Just let go, breathe, totally calm yourself, and know what it is you want to do. You want to ask her out, and you will do it. Go for it man.

Re: paranoid
I know I shouldn't be paranoid. I can't help it though. I'm always paranoid that people are out to get me, trying to trick me, avoiding me, etc. I really want to spend some time alone with her tonight, but I don't know what we'd do. She doesn't like to watch movies or TV, she spends her time at home listening to music in her room, so I'll prob put some music on and search my head for anything to talk about. After asking her out, would suggesting to 'kiss on it' be too gutsy or the right move? I'm crazy about her and her friends tell me she's crazy about me.

Re: paranoid
Well, here's the deal.
Something is going to happen with you too, the only variable is the time. You can either move it fast, or slower. But I'd take a good guess that you'll be together at some point.

Re: paranoid
Dude, more important than asking her out is the fact that she was coughing up blood!
She's probably a girl who gets anxiety attacks on strong weed. Best keep her away from the stuff.
But that's your pressing issue dude. Ask her if she's alright, and if she wants to hang out sometime without the weed.

Re: paranoid
We smoke together all the time. I'm almost certain it wasn't the weed. I smoked it too, along with 2 other people and nothing happened to us. I am worried about her, I think it might be because she hasn't been eating much lately. I feel even worse because apparently that's my fault. We've begun to sit together at lunch and I've eliminated lunch as a meal as a form of fasting and to slightly dissolve my appetite(I still eat a shit ton when I come home every night, and I've lost little weight since I began doing this, I don't think it's a problem)plus our school's food is nasty. Anyways, her friend told me the other day that she said she doesn't eat lunch apparently because I don't. Since that I have begun eating lunch again.

Re: paranoid
I can already tell the only reason you want to post in this thread is to insult me. Go bother somebody else, please. I don't like negativity around me.

Hey good that's what I wanted to hear. You seem to know what you're doing mate, I don't think you really need any advice from us. It's not your fault, you couldn't have foreseen that. There's no way you could have.

Re: paranoid
Yeah. I just called her and arranged for just us two to hang out together tonight and told her I'd call her once I got off work. Do you think hanging out at my/her place would be appropriate or would another setting be better?
