At what point do you feel uncomfortable?
I went to my girlfriends place last night, and no-one was home. I sent her a message, asking where she was. I got one back letting me know where the spare key is, and asking if i could turn the tape on for a show her dad wanted to tape.
They've also mentioned getting me a copy of their key cut, just in case. This might seem normal for someone in their 20's or so maybe, but im only 16.
All this has made me feel a little wierd...and i dont understand why. I mean, we've been together for about 15 months, so i know the family fairly well and all....
Would you feel weird in my position?

Re: At what point do you feel uncomfortable?
They just wanted to get a key made, and a show recorded. You said you've been with her for a long time, and that you know her family and all, so what's the problem?
I wouldn't feel weird. In fact, I'd feel good, knowing they'd trust me like that.

Re: At what point do you feel uncomfortable?
That wouldn't be weird to me at all. It just shows that they trust you, and that you're *gasp* like a family member to them.

I'd be flattered that they liked & trusted me so much.
But I'm a huge loser. So yanno.

Re: At what point do you feel uncomfortable?
Yeah, fair enough points.
I'll just smile and nod when they give me the key then :P
I just thought it was a little weird that her dad is putting all this trust in his daughters 16 year old boyfriend. Trust is one thing, but free access to his house is another, right?

Re: At what point do you feel uncomfortable?
I think you'll be fine, but I'm not St. Peter.
You realize that you're going to be stuck house-sitting when they go on vacations and such.
