I had been wondering what he did for a while now, she doesn't even know.

After searching his name in Google and sifting through results of people with the same name I found his name and address listed as the 2257 contact for a porn website.

This led me to the "earn money selling our porn" type site that lists all of his sites and provides IM contacts for him and other other employees.

I noticed that two of the other employees listed had the same names as/are his roommates.

There was some other stuff to. Anyway, I'm now certain that this is him (and not someone with the same name).

What should I do? Should I tell my girlfriend? I feel weird not telling her, but it might hurt her relationship with her dad and it'd be hard to bring up.

I guess this is nice in some ways, I used to think he was some kind of drug dealer.

There are just some things that are better kept to yourself.

Well, he'd probably hate you for life. And whether you like him or not, that would fuck a lot of things up if you're hoping to have a long term relationship with your girlfriend.

In any case, it's better not to interfere in these types of situation generally (i.e. when you find out someone's cheating, but the bf and gf are both friends, etc).

True, curiousity like this could easily get you killed one day.

I'm in police foundations for a city in Ontario , Canada. And you'd be surprised how many people die just because of curiousity. Some people just can't keep their noses out of other people's business. They go around asking about something that has nothing to do with them, and then they end up tying themselves up in situations they would never want to be in. By these situations I mean situations with drug deals etc. They end up being the people who commit the crime not only solving a mystery. Let the unspoken be left alone. And leave it to the pros.

Why dont you just goof around on the computer google her name and then bring up your dads and then say lets her google your dads and just have her find out that way, she doesnt know you googled it much more in detail that way your not keeping anything from your girlfriend.

And even if she doesn't know, it's no fucking big deal. Just like every other business; this one is no different. Nothing wrong with distributing porn. Good money, and everybody knows porn is good. Nothing imoral about porn (no matter what the bible says), it's just for our pleasure. We do dumber shit just for our pleasure...

don't fucking tell her.. it's not your goddamn business to tell her, and like it was mentioned above there is a good chance she already knows but is just embarassed to tell you. telling her will only cause drama/chaos and fuck things up. you'd be an idiot if you did.

If it were me, I would bring it up with her dad real casually, but sus it out, don't just walk up and say "hey pornmaster!"

He isn't selling kiddy porn? He's not pushing drugs at the playground? Then it's nothing to do with you.

He put clothes on her back and raised her with the money from that job(well,you know what i mean),and she never knew until now and it didnt effect her or her dads life in a negative manner,so why should she care now?

As long as children aren't involved with your gf's father's smut peddling, I would say let it go..

Now if things get REALLY serious in your relationship, like marriage, then I would at least talk to the dad about it, or something.

I had a friend who was like that.. we weren't very good friends, and I was into some.. less than legal stuff at the time. Anyway, he started poking around, and asking questions about what I and people I hungout with were doing.. One of the guys I was "hanging out" with happened to think he was the godfather.. and wanted to honestly kill the kid.

I was able to keep it from happening by talking some sense into him. But I moved quite awhile ago.. and haven't heard from either of them.. so who knows.

Point being.. just asking questions, can get you into some major trouble. and not just with your girlfriend, or your girlfriends dad..

What if her dad was selling kiddy porn? and you stumbled onto it.. if the police/fbi/whatever didn't bust you for lookin at the kiddy porn, who knows what someone that wants to keep it quiet might do to you.

it's between her and him whether he wants her to know. just because you managed to find out doesn't give you any more right to be included in their business. leave it be. you have knowledge that you're really not supposed to have. you satisfied your curiosity, fine. but don't go causing trouble.
