Default So I miscalculated and am back to square one

Well Totse, this year I went to a new school.

But anyways, after school a bunch of busses all take us to a different high school, where we all get off and get on different busses there that then go to our actual stops.

It doesn't matter what bus you get on to get to the other highschool/bus depot, but after that you have to get on your actual route.

But the point is that for the past few weeks I have been talking to this one girl. She always sits on the same bus and after a chance encounter the first week and then a week later when we both ended up sitting next to each other, I started getting on her first bus and she would always sit in the seat in front of mine and we would talk. She's pretty and we seem to have compatible personalities.

The thing is though that from a few clues I picked up I thought that she actually liked me more than just for my personality? Then again, I was almost certainly looking into something that wasn't there.

So today I finally tried to make a move. After the busses stopped at the second school, I told her to follow me. We both walked behind the busses, where it is kind of loud and no one from the other side can see you. In other words, very private for a school with people still there.

I didn't make any official move on her, just something thinly veiled to tell her I would if she let me. I basically got somewhat close to her, still a good foot and a half away though and put my hand on her arm. Not just setting it there, but not some vice like gri[ either. Just enough to be more than resting my hand on her arm. Firm but gentle, you know? Also, this couldn't have been too bad, this girl isn't against casual touching, she never seemed repulsed when I held her hand and teased at how small her hands are. I also ran my hand through her hair and told her how soft it was, and she never seemed upset at that either.

But back to the point. When my hand was on her arm and I was fairly close I basically just kept eye contact for a few seconds but I couldn't really read what she was thinking, but I could tell it wasn't attraction I asked her "What?" in a low, quiet voice, while still maintaing eye contact. She then pulled away from me, not thrashing or anything, I wasn't holding her in anything more than a "I like you" manner, she just moved quick and to the point, and told me she has to get to her bus. This wasn't a valid reason, her bus isn't too crowded and if she waits a minute to kiss me back she wouldn't have gotten a bad seat or missed her bus.

She started walking away, so I did too, not following her, but before I went out of sight around the closest bus I looked over at her now turned back and said "Bye", but I'm not sure if she heard or responded, those bus engines are pretty loud.

So I went to my bus and had an uneventful ride home.

The fucked up thing is that I was almost certain she was into me, and there really is no other girl I can think of with a remote chance of liking me at this school. I'm fucked, and I am, as said in the title, back to square one which I have been ever since my girl left me about a year and a half ago.

Also, take into account that I am not an asshole at school, I'm sort of reserved and occasionally funny. I don't put up a shitty personality, it's just that I'm really god damn ugly. The girl I used to be with had no trouble being really into me with the personality she got to know at school, she was just more receptive because she was a really weird Goth that thought I was physically attractive as well. I think it was the hair, it was pretty long back then.

But anyways, yeah Totse, I don't know what to do. I can easily see this year ending like the last one, that is, with me never having any significant relationship with anyone, but the end of this year will be different.

This is my last chance for redeeming my highschool experience, for I will be graduating this year and then it's either off to the Marines or if possible the Army Rangers.

On a different note, I try to do everything in my power to be attractive. I shower every morning, wear clean, nice clothes and deoderant and a subtle amount of cologne, but this doesn't mean a god damn thing when you look like you could be the Native American brother of Brian Peppers.

I know this was a very blog-esque rant, but at least it has damn near impeccable grammar, not because of proofreading, but rather because this is just the way I naturally type.

Jesus Christ, five minutes I'll never get back. It's not required that you have a girlfriend you know. I've never had a serious girlfriend. Then again, I'm ugly (see totse gallery). Oh well, just keep occupied with sports or other activities.

You don't need a girlfriend to be happy. In fact, having a girlfriend is pretty gay because girls are pretty stupid and uninteresting. Get a hobby and a bottle of jack daniels, find out what fulfills you and go with the flow. Trust me, it's more fun than trying to "woo" girls.

You can always stave off you're need for a girlfriend by masturbating daily.

I've had a girlfriend before, and no, she wasn't stupid and uninteresting in the slightest. I was a much happier person then, had more energy too.

Well if you need other people to be happy (especially women!) you have a dependency problem.

quote:Where did you gather that I was looking for sex?!?

Because that is the only thing women have to offer men.

My point is to stop being a fucking faggot and get a life outside of worshipping girls who aren't worth the dirt on my shoes. If that fails, kill yourself. Actually no, regardless if it fails or not, kill yourself.

Do you care if a tiny insect you can smash with your pinky finger respects you? Well, that is how I see some of the "people" on this board. Whether they respect me or not is not of my concern, I am above their judgement in every way.

Well, if you consider yourself a bad looking person and think your highschool years will reflect your college years your wrong. As you get older and get more serious, women start looking for caregiver and provider men. Which hopefully you can accomplish. Also personality is key role, looks mean nothing as long as the person isnt horribly ugly.(I Hope your not; pics?) I meet lots of attractive girls, and most people would definitely consider them very very hawt. I date them and I liek them for a week total, untill eventually I just kind of dont care anymore. I mean to say their personality does not fulfill me.

You want a chick for emotional fulfillness, in this case it seems you are limited to meeting women. Meeting women is sometimes the hardest. It is best to make female friends get close to them and hang out outside of school. They will most probably introduce you to their friends.

If a person feels you are not physically attractive, maybe you should work your limits, talk to the fat chick at school. Better yet talk to the popular girl that isnt to attractive herself, but have a attractive personality yourself.

One more thing, being too nice definitely does not increase your chances of getting women.

Do you enjoy music? Local concerts are great. Or you could take classes at a local art center. Anything to broaden your social horizons. Try your hardest to make friends! You wont regret it.

Don't give up on meeting people in school either. Strike up conversation. You're well liked on totse, theres not reason you couldn't be in real life.

Totse is very different from real-life.....

Aside from other things its Mainly text vs. actual speech. Who knows maybe he stutters and has very low self-esteem.

Ever talk to a person on aim that you met through friend, then one day you all happen to hangout or run into eachother and that person is well... just different.

Happened to me yesterday, this guy IMed me on aim and claimed to know me, I didnt doubt him but I didnt remember him. he said he saw me ball, but after about a year I saw him at a party, totally different from what I expected.

I don't fucking stutter. Sorry to get defensive, but fuck man, I actually pride myself on speaking well, and no, this doesn't mean using pretentious, grandiose language in every day speech, I save that for Totse

Ok, 'twas long, but a good read.

And yeah, its good to be able to speak clearly, and listen good, I sadly have a bit of problems with both. First with speaking: dunno but my throat isnt used to talking, so the first word or two come out like a rumbling of gravel untill my voice cords focus and then my normal voice kicks in. And I sometimes (or many times) have to ask "'scuse me?" or "sorry?" because I didnt hear what somebody said. My hearings fine, but my "speech recognition" is failing it seems . Im goin good though.

As for my suggestions and tips:

Befriend her, get to know her. Maybe she thought you wanted her as a friend but when you made that vice grip on her arm she might have though "another hormone crazed male...", or maybe she already has a boyfriend?

Girls like to tease guys, even if they have a boyfriend, so I wouldnt be surprised if she did it either for fun or for friendship. DO some more recon. Dunno about asking her out, here the girls cant say no to beer .

I'm not the only person that happens to? My hearing itself is fine; I just can't seem to comprehend what they're telling me at times. It becomes a meaningless jumble of sounds.

Yup as if theyre speaking in a different language and you have to "tune in" to understand it.

Anyways, one more tip: be quick of mind, you always have to have a witty/smart/good answer by hand, if you dont and think to long then your lost.

Oo

I could say that being in a relationship isnt all that great, but I dont think I could carry it off.

I think more than the girlfriend thing, you're maybe simply needing someone to really like you and want to spend time with you.

But I guess the issues gets confused if you're thinking too much about girls.

That's some seriously fucked up logic, 'if I dont get a gf this year I never will' and it's complete bullshit.

So fucking much can change in four years. Shit, so much can happen in one year.

You cant tell what the future holds, but you can guarantee it's gonna have some really bad stuff, but also some really good stuff.

This girl might be a dead end (allthough dont write it off completely, maybe she just left to think on it some), but she isnt the only girl in the world.

If it's any consolation, I like you. Or atleast what I know of you.

I'm almost certain I wasn't coming across as really creepy. What should I have done to get her to think I wanted to kiss her? Gotten really close without even touching her? Grabbed her ass?

Also, I'm fairly good at not coming across as creepy, smarter girls tend to think I'm witty and intelligent and whatnot, but just not attractive I think.

Come on, we were 15 feet away from a horde of swarming people, she also doesn't seem like the kind of girl that would be comftorable kissing in public.

Also, I did not tell her hair was soft that day, that was actually about a week ago. I was trying my best to come across as casual for the bus ride over there.

That was a cute read

Maybe she doesn't did know how to react I've done shit like that before instead of acting on what you want the only thing you can think to do is like make the person think you didn't really like or want it

Story of my relationship right now we tried to kiss each other all night this one night when we were sleeping next to each other in bed and that next day i was like, " uh no what are you talking about"

That was almost a year ago and only about a few months or go did she realize i was lying and totally wanted to kiss her

So maybe you'll shack up and she'll always just never bring up that she liked it

I'm so fricken happy i'm having the best day of my life

Life is good. Love life. Wine, Dine and Fuck her. I'm sure you look nice. Plus you dont have to be hot to be fucked. I would rather fuck with a guy that had a great personality and was like a good friend than a really hot guy

You really went about this the wrong way. Any girl is going to be quite creeped out, worried, surprised, etc by what you did. If you'd just been cocky and funny, slowly built upwards (phone number, out of school meetings etc) and made her chase you it wouldn't have ended this way.

By the way, please post pictures of yourself, you've said you're ugly on quite a few occasions now, what do you actually look like? Are you ugly in a way that you can't change?

Tell you what Totse, I will post my graduation pic in about a year when I complete basic training. But until then I will not. I bet some people from my shcool are on Totse, and I would really rather remain anonymous, because this is my only avenue of expressing my emotions.

However, I am well aware of what happens to people that post their pictures on Totse. If they are remotely bad looking they get run down and made fun of until they eventually stop coming anymore or get a new account.

Also, the things that make me ugly I could not reasonably change. I have horrible acne, and I do diet and exercise and a fairly expensive(30$ a month) skin care thing every month, and it helps alot, but it is still worse than anyone else I have seen at my school.

Also, my head is too big for my body(I know this for a fact, even my 8yr old cousin made fun of me for it, even when I had never talked to him about it or mentioned it in passing).

Finally, my nose is too big for my face. Although this could be changed with plastic surgery I guess, it is stuck with me. No, I am not exaggerating anything here, this is a fairly objective look at my own physical appearence.

If you'd like you could post a picture of someone you think is horribly ugly and I could honestly say whether I am better looking than them or not.

Edited for typos

"OMG I'm so faaat! Waaaa!!" ect ect..

I mean, christs, the bitches had protruding rib/hip/collar/spine bones and they went on about these invisible problems.

Now perhaps your 'physical deformities' ie acne and stuff are really blatant to you, but seriously, you're just a fucking human.

You go out in the street and honest, no one is laughing at you, or staring at you're acne. You're not the fucking elphant man, so dont start convincing yourself that you are!

Perhaps that sounds really hypocritical. Sure, everyone dislikes parts of their bodies. I despise my weird tummy, but I'm not going to start telling myself that I'm hideously deformed just because I'm a lazy bitch and dont do enough situps.

Focus on your good parts. And if you cant think of any, you know that you're being a prick to yourself, because everyone has good points, but people with low low low self esteem will never see them in themselves.

So fuck it, you may find yourself unnatractive, but do you really care what you think of you? I mean, do you want to date you or be your friend, or even fuck you (dont answer that one, actually).

No! And I guarantee you, there is going to be someone for you someday, even if it's not for a while.

Man, here's the thing.

Girls are like coconuts. You have the soft creamy center, lashings of penut butter, and if they drop on your head it really fucking does damage.

So my advice is to cull them. I love the smell of hot dead women in the morning.

No offense ladies. You know I loves ya.

This has been my useful reply. I love you Byss. Have my manchildren. I'll do it for free!

oh byss. it's got nothing to do with your looks. the approach you used was way off base.

you barely know the girl, and instead of doing something like asking to meet her sometime, you take her to a private place and think that if she likes you she'll let you get physical? no! ever heard of verbal communication? if i were her i would have thought you were creepy and done the same thing, regardless of my prior feelings. from her POV it looks like you're trying to move too quickly into sex or something.

Doesn't that fucking suck? I use three prescription skin care products (REALLY expensive), I wash my face, I get sun, everything and it's still bad. The only thing I don't do is watch my diet because I barely eat anything anyway.

Take an oral antibiotic for your skin. Minocycline and tetracycline are cheap (like under $20) and they work after a couple weeks. Give it a shot.

Hmmm, hard to say. We both seem to be about the same when it comes to physical attractiveness of facial features, but I do have far worse acne.

Also, I guess laren7249 and Demoiselle were right in that I went about this completely wrong with that girl. Oh well, I haven't seen her since that bus ride, I've been having to stay after school for shit and end up taking the late bus.

I think I'm going to start riding a different bus so I don't see her. I feel like a prick, and if she didn't like me before, she probably finds me incredibly creepy now.

Also, yoyobek, I do have good points, and I recognize that. However, I also realize that the particular good points I happen to have will in no way help me in a social way.

You never go ass to mouth...

What if she thinks the same thing and you both end up riding the same bus?

Ahaha, there's like 10 busses, that almost certainly wont be a problem. Also, she once told me she thinks it's stupid sitting in the back of the bus, so I'll probably end up doing that so at least if she sits on my same bus we'll be far away.

Ok Byss, Im'a share something Ive found out a long time ago. Dont try to make yourself fall in love. Just dont think about her all the time and all that stuff, just think of her as a "event" or maybe even a "job todo" on your mental list. Take a technical approach, not an emotive one. Emotions make you take wrong decisions. And remember, there will always be other fish in the sea. All you gotta do is be able to look through another perspective, look through her eyes, look through other womens eyes, study the people around you. Yeah, i know it sounds like some psycho-rabble, but it really helped me out with self esteem, to finally accept myself, even though I could also b&m on myself. So, take a straight approach, be open to her, even ask her if she thinks your ugly if you get "close" enough to her.

Ok, i dont wanna stir your thoughts cause these topics are really psycho, but hell, bet youve never come on a girl like i know:

- she teases all the guys around but is not a slut.

- no one knows wtf shes aimin at.

- shes nice to most people.

- shes truthfull (thats what I like in her).

Basicly she caused a major stir in the male part of my class because everybody has a big "WTF?!" on thier minds now, she talks to alot of people, "touches them" (meaning she is very open, like as if we all were her good life long friends, not touching as in masterbaiting us =P), and well, acts very mysteriously, even my good buddy has a problem with her because alot of guys fell for her bait and actually thought she wanted to be thier GF but she always surprised them the next day, teasing some one else, hugging another guy or even a girl... so yeah, shes a god damn pandora's box as far as I see it, although I still like her

You can always stave off you're need for a girlfriend by masturbating daily.

Amen to all of that post.

I didn't read much of that or any of the replies, but I can tell you that you have the same problem I and many others have: you have no balls. You think that if you don't have a girlfriend at 14 you never will? Phht, look at me. I'm 17, going on 18, and I'm only now talking to girls and figuring out how to get them to want me. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing either, and right now I'm using a fat slut as practice. I had one girlfriend my whole life, that's it. I can't just walk up to a girl, start a conversation, and leave with her number. But I'm working on it. An important thing to keep in mind is to just not think about it so fucking much, look at men who are succesful with women. They don't care if the girl's gonna turn him down or not, they just go for it and get it. If they don't, they don't care. They know how to handle girls just from experience. Where am I going with this? I don't know, my best advice is to just talk to random girls and get some experience instead of trying to establish one perfect relationship. Otherwise you'll end up like me, a senior in high school who wasted away his entire time in high school having only fucked one girl. Now I'm doing with girls what I should have in 7th/8th grade, and I'm sure college won't be much better either. I think I'll go off myself with a Magnum .357 now...

Yeah, that's pretty evident. I'm not 14, I'm 16. If you bothered taking the 3 fucking minutes to read my original post you would see why I feel I wont get one if I don't this year.

I am graduating this year and then joining either the Army Rangers, or the Marines. Either way, I will almost certainly be in Iraq for the next 4 years, or I will possibly be dead.

So unlike some people, I actually am running out of a finite amount of time.

At this point I'm only looking forward to probably going to college after my 4 year active duty so I can become an officer. Maybe then things will pick up, but that's still half a decade away.
