Having just watched Requiem for a Dream again the question lingers in my mind: Is Ass to Ass real? And wouldn't it be dangerous?

Yes it's possible. Couples who peg probobly might have tired this. And yes it's dangerous, if the object is big enough someone might REALLY get hurt if the other person fucks up.

Seriously, go download "Requiem for a Dream" (audio file) as it's commonly labelled in download programs. You'll usually turn up the fully orchestrated version that was made for the Lord of the Rings trailer. It's great.

If you think the movie is disturbing, try reading the book. Same idea, but you get what's going on in the characters' heads. And if you think THAT'S bad, read Last Exit To Brooklyn by the same guy. Definitly awful.

What I find disturbing is that everybody's life is fucked, and they're in the fetal position: the mom has lost touch with reality strapped to a bed, white guy without an arm crying because no one is coming no one cares, black guy in jail wishing he had made his momma proud, the chick spooning a bundle of dope; the dreams they all had for happiness are shattered; life is an abysmal display of atrocities.....

and anyone I talk to about it pretty much says "yeah Ass-to-Ass! fuckin' HOT!"

Watching right now, just liked to know about when to expect it. About a half hour or so in now, very very nice cinematography and nively produced/edited, I like it.

Just finished watching it. What a movie, a tad disturbing at a few times, but a masterpiece of cinematography and character development, wow.

Now, back on topic somewhat.

Though in that scene it wasn't terribly hot, I find it hot usually.. just lacking the crack whores and whatnot.

I absolutely agree, and Requiem for a dream and Last Exit are two of the best books i ever read, no wait they are THE best books.

The film is truly a masterpeice but it could never caputre the true genius of the book in showing how each character constantly deludes themselves that they are going to achieve such unattainable dreams.

You should all both books, if you know whats good for ya!
