My friend Melanie got a MASSIVE vaginal infection from it. She said it was so bad that she couldn't get rid of it completely for 6 MONTHS!
I think her experience was unusual, though.

from what i hear it is a good alternative to the pill if you are the forgetful type. my sister who is now in college is on the pill (overheard conversation) because of her "period" but it was because she ws fucking her BF and needed and excuse.
