It's that time of the year...
Do you guys notice this?
Every year this happens. Around this time of the year when kids are getting back to high school you see about a millions threads about breaking up.
The new year strikes, and everybodys back in school with many new kids to fasinate about. And then some take it too far and decide to fuck over their current relationship for a new..
Highschool, huh?
Don't you find it sorta sad how kids age ranged 14-17 just drop person in the mud so easily for some fresh "meat/ass"?

Re: It's that time of the year...
Why would that be sad? People don't get too attached, and everyone gets fun and experience out of it. It'd be much more sad if children didn't dump each other that often.

Haha, I just assume you are one of those children? Maturity leads to great things like knowledge and wisdom. If you are able to keep your mind set on one thing, then you will do a lot better in life. Don't give me this bullshit about how it would be sad if people weren't always sleeping around, being fucking idiots getting hammered every weekend and having unprotected sex... Oh yeah, sure kids dieing from aids isn't sad. It'd be sad if kids DIDN'T die from aids...

Actually no, I dropped out of school before that age to work, and I'm an adult. How many kids do you know that have died from AIDS? Perhaps we should just relive the days of old where children have pre-determined husbands and wives from 13-14, and god forbid teenagers take legal or otherwise physcoactives!

I find it incredibly sad, sure I'm included in that age range, but that's something that I cant help but one thing I can is the maturity of relationships. Take my friend for example, he's got a new girlfriend every two weeks. Which I find pretty disgraceful, but each to his own.
I just like to think that I'm the mature type of person who is willing to stick with a mature and serious relationship.

Re: It's that time of the year...
i heard that the highest amount of breakups occur on thanksgiving weekend after university starts. i guess because you've gone out and met other people and had new experiences and stuff.
but yeah, there seem to be a lot of breakup threads lately.

High school is fucking retarded. Take it from me. Besides it's high school, you're still young...You will not want to get into a serious relationship while young, you will regret it.

Re: It's that time of the year...
It's not just high school; I'm in college and so many of us are having relationship issues.
I'm still dealing with a break-up...makes it difficult when you're on a small campus and have to see the other person regularly.
It's actually really depressing, to the point where I really don't want to be here, and taking a semester off or transfering seems like a good idea.

Re: It's that time of the year...
Besides the totse crowd and myself, I'm noticing a lot of my friends breaking up too, some are coming home from college/uni because of it, too much to take, they centered their lives (at this point) around the other person, and it fell apart.
Can't say my end to the relationship fits that stereotype much, but meh. Small update, today is, more or less as I expected, a blank day. I don't know where my mind is at, i's not too happy, but unless I think on it for 5 min+ I'm alright, which is suprising really. C'est la vie, I guess.

Nobody died of AIDS, but they are probobly dead NOW because of aids. Back when I was in high-school I knew of 2 close friends which both got aids. I didn't stay in touch with them, but I'm in no doubt that they are either on the verge of death, or just dead.
I'm not sure, maybe it's different around where you are from. But back then relationships lasted about 7-9 days. It was basically this:
Date em', fuck em', dump em'.
I'd assume this city's abortionists are stinkin' rich thanks just my generation of peoples.

Good man. Good man.
You're one of those people who will not end up basing their life on high school and acctually doing something with your life with probobly a beautiful girl by your side.

True, but usually College and University includes a bit more matures age group. So it's not as 'bad'. Since at this age you would break up for a greater reason, then just seeing another better looking person. I am in college. 2nd year of Police Foundations. I assume it's different from your school, but similar pupil wise. And yes it's true that it does increase aswell as in College and University, but for much more qualified reasons. The reasons that in are not like in high-school. Not reasons that when explained the opisite person thinks "fuckin' dumbass!".

You would think that by this age most of us would have matured by now, unfortunately for me, this is not the case.
Why did we break up? She cheated on me with a coke dealer. In an argument I called her a slut, resulting in her pressing sexual harrassment charges against me.
Luckily, that hasn't gone anywhere, but just the fact she'd do it in the first place is what almost makes me want to cry.
That's life I guess.

Yep
Personally though, although Im certainly in the age category (16)
my last girlfriend was one of 8 months; if you just want meat why actually date the girl? It seems like that would just bring false expectations into a relationship.
Although I'm really too sleep deprived to know whatthefuck I'm talking about
