I've known this girl for like half a year. Didn't talk much over the summer with her. When I did talk to her, we had an ok/good connection. Recently, I just became better friends with her best friend by coinidence. She has a boyfriend, and that's part of the reason I never really approached her intensely, but now I don't really give a fuck about being a homewrecker, cause I don't think their relationship is going anywhere, but if it is, I probably won't do anything.

Anyways, at a party the other night, I was quite drunk and stoned, and this girl and me had been talking through parts of the night. Nothing sexual, she was getting drunk herself, and being friendly/hugging, doing whatever the hell girls do. Anyways, later in the night, I approached her after hitting my friends bowl, made some lame sarcastic remark, and she pulled me down next to her, calling me something like 'cute'. We talked for a while, and then she pulled me up to help her find someones keys, an activity that I gave up after 20 seconds. Later in the night, she sat down next to me by the bon-fire and started cuddling with me for a bit, and I put my arm around her for a while. Nothing really sexual...but I can't get her out of my mind now. Jesus, it's fucking annoying.

Basically, I want advice on how to read into the situation as far as finding out if she's interested in being my friend, or more than friends. I don't feel like getting caught up on her and finding out she's not interested.

I'm good with people, I'm just not good at evaluating if a girls interested or not.

Not sure man...Maybe the alcohol had something to do with it? I'm not really too keen on these kind of subjects.

hmm i would start out to say that i liked her and then you take it from there and see what happens i mean you will still have her as a best friend and you could wait for her but i wouldnt suggest it because you might miss a better oppertunity.

You can make a new friend, but it doesn't sound like you have any interest in that.

yeah but he can still put it out there to her so atleast she knows and who knows she might have feelings for him.

I think she just wants to be friends dude. I know a lot of girls who just cuddle and shit with lot's of dudes but are just interested in cuddling and not sex/relationships.

^ Looks, smiles, touching. A drunken party hookup doesn't mean anything man, so try not to take anything out of it. However, if you want to, definitely pursue this further. The fact that she hooked up with you at all definitely means she's at least interested in you in that regard, if not more. Best to be talking to her about this, not us, really. All we know is what you know, and you don't know enough about what she wants!

But having said that, remember, what you want is more important

These issues go against the rules of common sense. The more targets you have, the more focused you'll be. If you stick to one, you'll eventually get dragged in.

Alcohol could have played a role but for me it usually just multipilies stuff 10x what they are. Like I am a ton horny and don't care at all. Thats about it. I still am horny towards who I normally am but instead of lightly saying stuff its like (example time) "Hey you want to go get drunk at a drive-in and make out?" Its better if you are both drunk though.
