Youngest son (15) was sitting in the living room watching some 'golden oldies' music channel on SAt TV, while nursing a broken finger(he punched a wall last night) and pigging out on a pot of tiramasu ice cream (the basis of every healthy nutritional breakfast)

My Dad got all the chicks and my Mum was a 5'9 100lb model until she got preggo. Some of my friends have said she's hot, and everyone says she doesn't look a day over 30.

I haven't inherited either of their looks.

My dad once told me that he married my mom cuz of her big booty. I just gave him a "..." look.

My mom looked exactly like me (which doesn't speak all that well for my future ) and my dad looked like Ringo Starr. Seriously, identical. Looking at pictures is weird, man.

Luckily, my daughter is still young enough to think I look cool when I dance to eighties music...But then, she also thinks I look cool in my sombrero when I pick her up from school. I thought my sombrero was teh awesome, but people always laugh at me when they see it.

my mom used to model. my dad was the most awkward looking mofo on the planet. luckily, i inherited his looks.

My mother was very pretty. Socially awkward, but it just seemed to attract guys more. Somehow, though, she ended up choosing my dad, who was not only even more awkward but possibly the coldest person ever born (though he's gotten better recently).

I seem to have gotten a mix of looks, though I guess I got more from my mother. Pity, in a way... my father looks intimidating. Bald head, skull face. Instead, I got lovely pouting lips and sparkling green eyes.

erm i dunno about my parents lookin like when they were 16 and 18(when i was born) they both aren't exactley pretty yet somehow i'm being told by girls i'm fit (h4wt) and i like have girls askin me out when i don't fancy them (oh boy thats awkward lol)

I recently saw a picture of my grandparents at their wedding, and I'm willing to say, with blatant disregard to my sexuality, that my grandfather was the most handsome, well-groomed man I've EVER seen, and my grandma was within reason (due to celebrities and such) the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I near shit myself, considering what they look like now.

EDIT: (due to boredom and actually reading the thread.) My mother has gotten prettier since she's aged. I saw pictures of her in high school, and although I would've found her attractive, most guys didn't. In her early 20's she was pretty, then it went downhill with kids. Now she's in her 40's, and she looks gorgeous. My buddies always talk about how hot she is, and I can EASILY convince anyone that she's my older sister. It used to be real fun in old school functions to bring my "mom." People would just stare at her, it was priceless. It sounds real good and all, but now thinking about it, she's not real 'hot'. When she dresses up with pants/long shirts and her hair done, she's model-material.. but without her clothing on, I have to admit she's not good-looking. She has more wrinkles then you would think, and remember seeing her at the beach numerous times thinking, "Please put on your clothes." I'll be sure to post a pic, soon.

Similar story here. I met my dad when I was 8, and to this day we have the same taste in movies and music, and the same difficulties in life.

It's strange, because we never really lived together, or even in the same region for a long long time.

It seems personality and taste can definitely be hardwired.

I don't look anything like my mom or dad. My dad was 5'8 170 pounds. My mom is 145 pounds 5'6. I'm 6'4 250 pounds. All I got from any of them was my dads hair color and eye color. My mom says I look alot like her dad though. Just generally big and that you'd never want to fuck with him. Pretty sweet deal

My parents and grandparents were all incredibly attractive when they were in their youth. I unfortunately inherited the few undesirable traits from each of my parents. Stretch marks and a stocky build from my dad, greasy skin and thin hair from my mom. Sigh.

Yeah my mum was fucking hot when she was younger. When I was last home she pulled out her dresses from the 70's ommmmgggggggg authentic 70's clothes. Shame that neither my sister or I can fit them, sisters to short and I'm too fat

I can't wait until I can do this, but one step at a time I guess.
