So we broke up, i'm already missing her and it's been like 3 hours since "the talk".

i feel like we broke up for all the wrong reasons. basically stupid ass preemptive conservative bullshit. her reason was that it would be easier to break up now because the longer we are together ,the more attached we will become and the harder it would be to break up later. what kind of bullshit is that??

should i try or just let her go? I love her.

That doesn't make any sense, OP. I doubt you got the real reason(s). I'm on the edge of a breakup myself, so not the greatest to talk to ATM about relationships and why they end.

What kind of bullshit excuse is that, seriously. |Of course if you stay with her longer and become more attached, the break up would be worse. But could you seriously say that it's not worth it? Tell her to think of all the happy times you've had together etc and say that she's willing to throw all of that away because of her beliefs?

That's really sad that you have broken up, because it means that religion can easily interfere with relationships, I sincerely hope it doesn't with me.... if it does, i'll be so sad. I really hope that you can resolve things with this girl.

this totally sucks. I'm sitting here, and i feel like crying and I have no idea what she is doing right now. I miss her so much and I either need her back in my life or a quick way to forget her.

it sounds like there's other things going on, but she doesn't want to hurt your feelings by telling you that, so she's going with telling you she's afraid of the future consequences when its more current

Being broken up with sucks, but when there's a bullshit reason involved that doesn't make any sense, it makes it hurt that much more. you need to try to move on with things, and get over your pain. you'll probably never forget her, but if you just go out and concentrate on living life*, you should be okay after a little while.

*read as: drinking, going to parties, spending as much time as possible with friends. not alone.

Yeah, I understand how being broken up with is especially without a legitimate reason or even a bullshit one at that. OP, did you and this girl talk to eachother about literally everything regarding your relationship, i.e. were you 100% open with eachother?

yeah we are very open to each other. I'm sure there's no other guys involved. She's just having an internal struggle. ON one side i'm pulling and on the other side her "values, and morals and the way she was brought up for 19 years"

If you feel like crying, by anymeans, just let it out, there's nothing stopping you. It's the way of you releasing your emotional distress, if you refuse to release it, you're only be in pain for longer. I don't know about anyone else, but I have a theory, the harder you take it, the faster you'll heal, because you release more stress. So just sit around in the dark and listen to saaaaad music. Nothing holding you back bud.

If she broke up with you, then no matter what the real reason was, it comes down to that she didn't love you enough to try to get through it. I don't recomment trying to talk about it with her, because that will only make you seem like a stalker (even though it's a normal and understandable thing to do, when people dump someone and their ex keeps on trying to talk to them it comes off like a stalker).

If she feels you're trying to pull her away from her morals, maybe you were. I obviously don't know anything about this girl, but like if she's still a virgin and you want sex, perhaps a break up really was for the best, because even though it seems like it now, you will probably find someone even better who will share more similar views with you. And if you're willing to not pull her away from her values, then tell her.

the things i did for this girl...well yeah she was virgin and still is because i decided to respect that. Been with her about 7 months without ever wanting sex from her (but we did other stuff which was enough for the two of us) and now this...go figure
