 Not ready for a relationship,,,
That was what Amy ( http://www.totse.com/bbs/Forum4/HTML/024180.html ) said to my 'friend' while talking about me. I really like this girl, and thought she liked me the same way. Apparently not; 'Hey XXX,Um.. no, just friends, sorry xox'. Apparently she doesnt think I'm mature enough to handle it. But the thing is; I know I am. I am one of those people whose insecurities get covered by me talking shit and constantly making jokes, sometimes going too far. I know i do this, and i may sometimes seem wierd to outsiders and even friends not completely acquainted with my quirky behaiviour. How the fuck can i fix this, get the girl so to speak?

I bet that's not all that's wrong with you, and I also think that if you've got insecurity issues then you're far from ready for a relationship.
One thing you have to keep in mind, if a girl likes you she won't care if you're a weird guy. So back off for a few weeks, while trying to figure out how to overcome your insecurity issues. You know what they are, apparently, so now all you have to do is think about them and picturing yourself in similar situations - a solution will pop up in your mind.

Thanks, this seems like constructive, useful advice.
Yeah, I think I am not as mature as i should be insome ways, but in others worldweary and cynical (at 16).
