Default My relationship Life story

*If you don't think this has any point then don't comment, simple*

**I'm only writing this as I want to get it off my chest, there is no real point except for people to read**

***May be Long***

I won't start from the very beginning because that would be pointless, however I will go back 5/6 years ago.

Back in the day I was one of the best looking and popular guys (without being arrogant). I played lost of sports, I was in good shape, I had lots of friends, I was happy, all was good. Then at one point all this changed, found out I had appendicitus (my appendix 'died'). Anyway, after this I found out I have a very low BMR and I put on weight quickly as I couldn't do any physical activity yet I ate the same. This wasn't good...

After this for about a year I had low self asteem, felt depressed and annoyed at myself for not doing anythign about it. As some of you (most of you) know, weight is put on easier than lost, and at my age (about 13 at this time) I didn't want to do weights, and because of low self asteem didn't want to run etc. I was in a downwards spiral. Of course all my male friends acted no difference, they didn't care that much about it, overlooked it, but.. the girl aspect in my life dropped dramatically. Before appendix fucked up, life was good with lots of girls (nothing happened as I was probably only 12 or so remember..., hence I skipped that part).

This period of my life sucked, it was crap, and for some reason I couldn't get out of that mind set even though I knew I should. So at the stage when i've just got into the age when I should be getting with girls (or when I percieve I should have if all hadn't been royally screwed) I wasn't and made me more annoyed/depressed (downward spiral again).

Skip a few years to just over 6 monthes ago...

6 monthes ago I was just finishing my last year of school, doing my A levels (final secondary school exams for the Americans here). Life had started getting better, i'd snapped out of my negative mindset, lost weight, became sporty again and WHAM! back in the thick of it 'just like the good old days' (very cliche I know). Girls took more notice, got with a few girls, made up for lost time. After a while of this new found rejuvenation, I found out that a girl which I had previously liked had taken quite an interest in me, but, my self asteem was still not as it once was so nothing came of it for longer than it should have.

We spent more and more time together, got closer and closer until the unevitable happened and we became a couple. For the next few monthes of this stage of my life, I was as happy as I could be. After time I fell in love with her and we both were inseperable. Then, she had to go to university, whilst I wasn't.

This was a bigggg thing to happen, and a big choice to make of what we should do. After much deliberation, we decided to stay together. She went to uni (after a long goodbye) and we continued to phone each other, talk a lot, and stayed very close even over the distance. After a while, I became jealous, when she phoned me, she'd always comment on how she had a lot of male attention. This is unsuprising as she is physically very attractive, very curvy and aesthetically appeasing (to put in a certain phrase). After a few weeks, I visited her at uni. This was great, we became as close as we once had been and it seemed as if all was going well..

She has been at uni for only a month or so, and as expected it is very hard to be in love, yet not be able to see each other. We continued to phone but now the phone calls were deteriating. They were ending up with one of us upste over a small thing, and pointless arguements forming. At the moment she is annoyed at me for nto being excited at her coming home, of course I was extatic yet obviously I didn't show it enough. (as you can see, little things like that escalating into full blown arguements and tears).

I'm at an important point in my life, i'm 18, getting a 9-5 job, planning to go to university next year, I have a large pool of friends and at the moment I am in love with a girl who I can realistically seeing ymself spend the rest of my life with.

I don't really have a question, but I suppose I would like your input on any parts of it and especially the present and what direction people think my life should take: either with a girl who I love, but are on rocky terms with and a long distance relationship, or, move on, break my own heart and carry on without her...

Thanks for your time

How far are you apart now? Cause you're both old enough to drive. What I got from it, is when she went to uni you stopped seeing her in person?
