Default Engaged

OK. There's a girl I have been working on in one of my high school classes. I noticed when I first started talking to her, she had a ring on her wedding finger I ignored this however and continued to talk. More recently she changed the Ring to her middle finger, which made me curious. I figured that she didn't want me to get the wrong idea. Things started going really well from there all the signs that you would expec from someone who likes you. But Yesterday, she told me she was engaged, now I don't know what to think.

That's too bad.

Look on the bright side, at least you're not engaged at highschool.

Lots of women are engaged and/or married. That doesnt have anything to do with anything. If they still play the game, then they're fair game.

And also, if she's engaged in high school...chances are it'll go sour before the wedding.

Engagement in High School typically never works out, unless they're Seniors, ready to graduate and move away. This reminds me about how this girl I know who was a freshman at the time was dating a junior (maybe senior, I don't remember...) and he actually asked her to marry him after like a month or dating. It was fuckiong stupid as hell. She gave the shitty ass ring back to him like a month later. This girl was like 14. Ridiculous.

Thats stupid, but they're young. Young people do stupid things.

My moms friend is like 40 something, with two kids (maybe 8 and 12), and met this guy on the 12th of may. She ended up marrying him by the end of the month, but her kids didnt like him so she sent her son to live with friends, and her daughter up north to live with family. Just so she could move the guy in. Then after a month or so, my mom gets a letter talking about 'You never see how ugly a man can be until you move in with him'

What an idiot :\
