The things we do for love.
What is the craziest thing you've done for or because of someone you like(d)?
For example, a tattoo of said lover's name.
Or something you did you court them.

Anyone who gets a lover's name tattooed on them is an idiot. They deserved to be shot for being so damn stupid.

I've done that. But it didnt seem that wierd at the time. My nextdoor neighbor had a friend that would always come over to her house after school. They were both like 13 year old girls. (I was 13 at the time too, so no pedo jokes.) So that being where the girls were, thats where our group of guys would hang out. Mostly, they wouldnt come out and play because they wanted to stay inside and watch dragonball. And we'd try and slip in through one of the sliding doors to watch it too, because they sucked and didnt want us to watch it with them. We never did anything inappropriate or anything. But we'd just kind of try and force our way in to watch cartoons, and they'd have fun throwing us out.
Anyways, I used to fight with her friend a lot. She was rough in her attempts to evict me, and one time she even stabbed me with a ceramic unicorn. We didnt get along at all.
Until one day, the girls showed up at my door, and my neighbor asked me if I could walk her friend to karate practice. About a half an hour walk. So I did, and I really started to dig her. And I started walking her every day. Then at the end of the school year, she stopped coming by and I had no way to reach her.
Every day for the entire summer, and for well into the next year, I dragged one of my buddies along to walk down to the karate place at the time when she usually had practice. After about a year, I realized it wasnt accomplishing anything, so I went in and joined. About a month after that I finally found her again. Nothing came of it though...

Re: The things we do for love.
I used a "we" phrase without qualifiers. I mean, I usually couldn't bear to suggest that we actually had something going on; I was afraid I'd say something that included us as a package and she'd be like "ew wtf, WE?". It took every bit of courage and confidence I had to even talk to her!
But I dared to imply that she might be, you know, my girlfriend or something, and she was pleased.
Now I'm almost over my fear! But oh man, the courage that took.
...what a lame story.

Re: The things we do for love.
Can you say $100 worth of roses on valentines day followed by a date so romantic, that remembering it makes me want to puke.
I also put up with another ones shit for about a year. THAT was fucking crazy.

Re: The things we do for love.
I had moved to Indiana to stay with friends. Shortly before I left though, I met my fiance at Nation. We talked every day until I left, and then every day afterward. I moved back to DC after only two months there, just to be with her.
it was good though, DC/Baltimore is the best area in the country, and Indiana just sucked balls.
