EC, Plan B, The Morning After Pill...
alright. so today is monday, 10:00PM...Saturday night around 9:30PM, me and my long time girlfriend decided to hop in the backseat of my explorer, and have a grand ole time. and we did...but upon pulling out, we realized the condom had broke.
so supposudly This pill has become available in pharmacys, without a prescription needed, for the price of around...$8 per pack, or so. so we had checked a few places, no luck. eventually found out this form hadnt come available yet.
so today we had gone to a health department to get ahold of this, with luck. hell, no cost, confidential. whats better?
so after some sitting around, and a pregnancy test (came out negative), she was given the pills. and took the first one around 4:30PM (she's set her alarm clock for 4:30am, to take the other).
the only problem here is that, apperently, a few days before her whole period deal, her stomach feels a bit funny. and today...her stomach has started feeling funny.
by the way, she has hers irregularly, which, at her rather small size, is common. and no, she's not on birth control. long story short, she's uneasy about it. and theres nothing I can do...
so basically what I'm wondering is...does the fact that she feels her period coming about make much of a difference? greaten/lesson any chances, etc?
we're both rather new with this pill, and I hope I'm making sense here...

Well, it (morning-after pill, if that's what you meant by 'the pill' and I suppose THE pill, lol) can fuck up your next period a little. Like I didn't come on for when I was due, took a while. Her stomachs probably feeling weird because of a period. Doubt it's anything to worry about.

My girl and I are in the exact same situation now. Stomach uneasyness is to be expected. You just need to have faith in the pill, and hope that it will do its job.

I found that this site had tons of really useful information.

Why not go with "c" (http://tinyurl.com/r33yt)?

Why? Most of the time it affects the egg and uteran wall before the egg is fertilzed, but it won't damage the fertilized ovem if it's already been implanted.

It's how it affects the egg and the uteran wall...if that happens on its own, it's still not fun. Forced miscarry...it's like a staircase in a pill.

How about step up to the plate, take your chances, and be a man if you got to and take responsibility for your actions. Why take the cowards way out and murder a human being that's completely defenseless?
You should just take your chances, and hope for the best. And if a baby comes along, do the right thing, and be a father not a murderer.

It's not a human, it's a blob of cells. You kill potentially thousands of people every time you rub one out, murderer.

Most people feel odd in the stomach when they're nervous. Her thinking and worrying about being pregnant will juse exaggerate that. Just ignore it, it'll go away soon enough.

How about the girl in this? By the sounds of it she doesn't want a baby either, so don't go blaming him and saying he should be a man. I doubt she wants to carry around a baby for 9 months and then look after it for the rest of her life just yet.

As for advice, everything I would've said has already been said. So this is a pretty useles post.

Re: EC, Plan B, The Morning After Pill...
The morning after pill is NOT the same as an abortion. It PREVENTS an egg from implanting in the uterus, or from ever being released. If there is no ovulation/implantation, there can be no pregnancy ergo no abortion.

Re: EC, Plan B, The Morning After Pill...
MLoR already posted about it, but we experienced this same thing. My stomach felt uneasy for a while, kinda funny, and nauseaus a little. And her period will be all FUCKED up, if it comes at all that month. Don't worry. I think it takes three weeks for symptoms of pregnancy to arise, and a pregnancy test wont pick it up for about 3 weeks also.
