Default good conversation?

Well ive once again realized im a shitty conversationalist, sometimes i have good days talking to girls i like where i can go for a couple of hours, or i get days like today where conversation just completely dies.

I know that everyone says girls love being asked about themselves, but what in particular? And for the guys, i know all girls like talking about different shit thats obvious im not stupid, but what do you usualy use as conversation starters what do you usualy talk to girls you dont know very well about?

Patheticaly yours, FCAdam

Look for the band t-shirt, that is one key for a good conversation.

if i could teach you conversation skills over an internet forum, i would. you already know the part about asking her shit about herself, so there's not much more to tell you. you have to be intuitive and perceptive, and pick up on what the topics that interest her the most are.

"Hi. I'm (your name). Whats your name?"

"Nice to meet you (her name). How have you been?"

"Whats your major?"

"What classes are you taking?"

"Wanna hear a joke?"

"Where do you live?"

"What year are you?"

"What brings you here?"

(if at a party) "Who do you know here?"

etc...

Simple stuff man. Talk about simple things. What do you talk about with your friends? Girls are just people of a different gender. All your trying to do is have a conversation with them. If you can have a conversation with a guy, you can have a conversation with a girl. Trust me. Talk about whatever comes naturally. As you said earlier, sometimes youy can have long conversations no problem. So whats the problem?

You cant script a conversation, it will never go perfectly to plan. Just go with the flow.

I'll usually say something like, "So Pluto's not a planet anymore" or "I'm thinking about getting a pet skunk" or "Have you noticed that a lot of people around here double park?"

Even worse advice. Sterotypical bullshit stuff your read off the internet;

`Ask girls open ended questions. It will make them think you are interested in what they have to say and you will stand out.....`

What absolute bullshit. I have a couple of girls into me, none of them i ask questions like that. Im not their psychiatrist.

I have fun with them, mainly make them laugh and take the piss out of them constantly. No, i am not joking. You want a good conversation/ Get funny. Don't go and ask her a silly question that isnt relevant. If yer working on the PC's at school nex to her for example, then by all means ask her about that. If yer chatting to your friends and your a funny guy, she will pick up on it and speak to you anyway. Look up David Deangelo on limewire or something. Double your dating FTW.

HecklerKoch you are a bullshitting halfwit.

I didn't get what I said off the Internet it is fucking obvious.

Open questions get people talking.

Then if you want your hole and this is fucking obvious as well as being all over the internet you discreetly repeat what they said back to them.

It is a fucking boring way to relate to people.

I agree that you should take the piss out of them, but FC Adam is scared to talk to girls.

What relevance does this NLP based bullshit (and it is bullshit) have for someone like that? Good one talking about real life and then referring to a higher authority by the way.

The problem with the likes of whoever you are on about is that they make getting your hole like a crappy telesales job.

It is what is worst about America.

Small talk is gay.

Get a girl talking abour her morals and life philosophies and you know you've got your self a keeper.

I'm sure every one else gets bored of the same old, randomly shitty conversation pieced. It's refreshing to hear something new. But be warned, these are heavily opinionated topics, so it can lead to instant attraction, or the exact opposite.
