Default More on my situation...

So, we figured out when her ovulation normally occurs...taking everything into account, it's more probable she is pregnant than isn't. Going to do the HPT on the 14th and again on the 21st if the first one's negative. If either is positive, going to schedule a doctor's visit.

So totse, if she is, wish me luck in fatherhood and her luck in motherhood.

Out of curiosity how old are you?

I'm gunna assume you're older, because you aren't freaking out. Which is good.

Already spent the last 7 hours being there for my girl...I can't sleep right now.

Yes, I'm 20. And I'm not freaking out because I already got that out of my system. :P

It's weird though...ya ask the universe to present you with an oppurtunity to show someone how much you love them, and instead of something easy, this kind of situation is what you get. Oh well, if that's what this is, it'll do.

Something for you all to learn: never buy Durex condoms if you don't want to risk it. That mofo split from the tip to the base...it was held in one piece by about 2mm of latex.

Well good luck if she is pregnant, but seriously don't just assume that she is and quit using protection.:P

And don't worry about money...My husband and I were so poor when I first had my daughter that we couldn't afford to buy bread or canned beans! I had to bake bread and boil dry beans, not to mention slow roast the cheapest cuts of meat imaginable to make them edible.:P We also had no car, so we had to walk everywhere...It was fun, though. We really had a lot of fun when she was a baby...And there are a LOT of ways to cut corners if you have to. I shopped in thrift stores for her baby clothes and I used cloth diapers.

I grew up poor, so I know how to do it. The advice is appreciated anyhow, though. No worries on my end...I'm actually as ready for this as I think I'd ever be.

She's freaking out about it a little bit still. We don't even know yet though...so I hope she atleast calms down 'til Saturday when we do the first test.

Strange, here in the UK, Durex are regarded as the original and best. Whereas Trojan are the cheapo brand with all the horror stories.

Eh, in America, everything's expensive but it's still cheap.

Quick question, why didn't you go out and get the morning-after pill when you found out it split?

So are you guys going to get married if she is pregnant? What about if she isn't?

I'm sorry...My religious background forces me to ask this...Even though I think christianity is dumb.

Because I respect life. Everything from proteins to humans. If I have a choice, I don't kill. With that, the decision of such a matter was left to her after she recieved my input. She could choose to take it into account, or not to, and make whatever decision she wanted.

I wouldn't ask her to marry me unless I thought she loved me like I love her. I know she cares strongly about me, but I don't think she loves me.

No offense, but the english arent exactly known for their massive man-sticks. It's not like they have too many problems tearing it in half. On the other hand, if trojans are too big, I could see a problem.

So...You're saying you want a baby with a woman who's not in love with you?? Why do you think she's not in love with you anyway?

Hmmm, I know I love her, and I've told her such - she told me she cared for me a great deal, but couldn't say she loved me yet.

Not long enough for a baby to be a good idea. Though I know we can handle raising a little bundle of shits, tears, screams, and joys.

Dood that could be any length of time!

And I have a question for you: Have you ever been around a baby before? I mean like a newborn? Seriously, if you guys aren't really in that strong of a relationship yet, NOTHING will shatter your bond like a baby! A baby is stressful and you can kiss sex goodbye...At least until the baby can go for more than 5 minutes without eating/pooping/puking.(About 6 months) You can also kiss sleep goodbye during that time, BTW. I PLANNED to have my baby and let me tell you the first 2 or 3 months she was alive were the most stressful of my life! She cried nonstop unless she was attatched to my breast...So she was constantly attatched to it, which kind of sucked like when I wanted to sleep! She also slept in bed with me until she was about 8 months old, which sucked for romance. She pooped maybe 10 times per day until she was 5 months old and she vomited a LOT after every feeding until she was about 6 months old.

Don't get me wrong...I loved her better than anything in the world and she made me very happy, but it was also very stressful. And I was lucky in that I was able to stay home with her, so I didn't have the stress of a job/daycare. Would you guys be able to do that?

These are the realities you should be thinking about.

*Gasp* It's GONE! Maybe it was deleted by a mod?

Anyway, I realised what was up with it anyway. I'm ovulating! And here I thought my surgery had stopped all of that!

Yes, I've been around newborns and seen the hell they are. I've also been around 2 year olds, which make all that shit seem worth it. And then there's young kids, which are worse than babies. Teenagers...they hate you. Then they become adults and live the same mistakes you made right before your eyes. My dad must be proud.

I just had a job interview today, it went well, I know for sure on Thursday though. Luckily, I do have rich parents to help out if she is pregnant, so I'm not so much worried about the financial part as I probably should. So long as I get my ass out of debt by the time a baby comes around, we should be fine.
