sleep partner?
I know I'm not in a place for a realtionship, but does anybody else just get that urge for human contact, closeness... not sex, just a hug, a cuddle, some one to sleep with?
Well I get it all of the time, but now I feel guilty pursuing it, mainly because I don't want a relationship (or do i?)... But I need the physical touch... to throw my emotional state back into it's normal groove.
what do I do?

I've been wanting that for about one and a half years, welcome to the club.
Edit: I'm talking to the OP, not the troll

Re: sleep partner?
I didn't used to, but now that I moved into my basement (LAWL I LIVE IN MY MOMS BASEMENT!) and my room is fucking huge, and most of the time I'm the only one down here, yeah sometimes I wish I had someone to sleep (not even in the same bed, just in the same room) with.
I like being alone and all, but something about sleeping just makes me want human contact.
Of course it's always nice when my gf comes over and we fall asleep watching tv or something, but that happens maybe once a week. On like fridays or something when I'm tired as fuck. I wish that she could actually sleep here like, overnight, but that would never happen.

Re: sleep partner?
My gf has big boobs.
She won't let me use them for pillows though. It would hurt.

Then you must not be doing it right.
I love using my woman's tits for pillows.

Re: sleep partner?
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I too crave this. Ironically, I find it difficult to sleep with others in my bed. Yet I wish that I had a "friend" who would spend the night just sleeping.
I think this stems from an interesting encounter I had going on overnight boat ride from Helsinki to Stockholm. I was 15, traveling alone with two friends, and we'd purchased the cheapest tickets, which left us without cabins for the night. We met a group of guys, and after some clubbing on the boat, my friend went with one of them to have sex. I wasn't interested in any of the guys, but one of them offered to let me sleep in his bed with him for the night - "JUST sleep." I was grateful for the offer, and slept in the same bed with him, though I kept my clothes on and we didn't do anything. From that day forward, I have sort of been chasing that same situation, but never really finding it.
I guess you could say I have a sleep fetish?

Actually, I know EXACTLY what you mean. There's something about having someone to just cuddle up with at night that makes life so much better!
...Well, it's time to drink myself to sleep

I've always wanted to cuddle with a pair of topless lesbians. They're gay, so no sexual tension. And you can cuddle all you want.

Re: sleep partner?
I like sleeping with girls; it's nice to wake up next to someone. There's a certain presence that another person has for which nothing can subsitute.
I don't know about emotional grooves involved or the physical touch part, but sleeping with someone is nice.

Re: sleep partner?
I LOVE sleeping with people. My boyfriend is so warm and snuggly and I just want to cuddle him all the time. When I have other friends over to stay I we usually end up cuddling too, it's really nice.

I know exactly what you mean. I love sex, but sometimes I just want that human presence, that feeling of proximity to someone. I'm a light sleeper, and I take a long time to fall asleep, so I don't really like having a girl next to me in a small bed, but sometimes that feeling of someone there is really wonderful. Oh well, maybe I'll find a girl for this, if not, oh well

Re: sleep partner?
Sleeping in the same bed as someone is the only way I can get to sleep in less than 10 minutes. On my own, it usually takes at least an hour or two.

Re: sleep partner?
... Maybe ask somewhere else. Certain people don't care what you do, but they don't particularly want to hear about it.

Oh, and qft.
Edit: But to answer your question, unfortunately yes. I like some physical lovin'... too bad though, cause when it gets to that point I realize I don't want it from just anybody.

I completely understand what you mean. There is a whole level of comfort. I don't know what it is but their is something so special about just having someone with there arms around you while you go to sleep, something calming and it feels as though you can really sleep well. I don't know if that made any sense, it's hard for me to say exactly the feeling i get.

Re: sleep partner?
Yeah, I hate sleeping alone. I get vivid dreams, which are like one step below night terrors and I really hate waking up with my heart pounding feeling like I'm about to die and being totally alone in the dark.

Heh yeah man, I feel the same way . I find this kinda funny after posting in my thread.
A physical caring touch between 2 ppl can cause a "dreamy" feeling. Compared to sex, sometimes Id have the latter.

Re: sleep partner?
My big old bed often feels empty at night. I'd love to sleep with someone. In fact, just for sleep companionship purposes, I don't think I'd care if it was a male or a female. Although breasts to rest my head on would be a bonus.

QFT - I love cuddling partners - and I miss it so much on a long term basis. Best place to find that kind of thing is at house parties with a small number of close friends. In relationships or single, your bound to find people cuddling up...its great i feel - realy good very of bonding with friends.

Re: sleep partner?
As strange as it sounds, my ex and I still sleep together every now and then, in a non-sexual way. It's nice just to fall asleep with someone there.
