Alternative to I Love You...
My girlfriend I have now I really care about, but I wouldn't say that I love her. Saying that I've never been in love so I don't know what it is like. I just wanna make sure I really mean it when I say it.
Which brings me to my point, what can I say becides I love you to get my point across?

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
There isn't really an alternative word that's set. But just tell her how much you care about her, and how she is special to you. I might skip out on telling her she is special though.

'I..like you.'
That's what I have to say to my ex-boyfriend now so as to not make things even more fucked up,but inside 'like' is just code for 'love'.

Why do you disrespect yourself so? Even if you are worthless, does that mean you have to put up with other peoples' insane bullshit if it drags YOU in?

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
well you could tell her that you really really like her.. as one way or you could tell her that you care about her alot.... but what i know as a girl is that a guy tell me how he feels and explains why you arent saying "i love you" some girls wait for guys to say that
here is how i would say it:
i really really care about you but i just dont want to say i love you caz ive never been in love and i dont want to lead you on to think that i do when yet i dont know... i just really care about you and want to be real to the words i love you

"you're...cool."
Used in the event if she says "I love you" to you, and you dont want to say it back.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
Say, "I love U2" even though it is a terribly shitty band, she wont be able to tell the difference.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
If you can pull it off "I adore you" is good. "You're facinating to me." is good. "You're amazing. I can't see myself without you. When I'm around you things make sense. You turn the lights on. You're so fucking smart. You make me crazy you're so beautiful."
Read some freaking poetry.
Cheers,

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
Do you really need to tell her how you feel? Or does she need reassurance?
Express how you feel with your touch. Make her feel like a million dollars when she's with you. Then when you're not with her, just tell her how much you want to be at her side, at that time. If the way you touch her expresses how you feel, wanting to be next to her should be a way of saying you wish you could express your self at that moment.
Blah, I'm sure that came out as jibberish.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
If you love someone, let it be shown in spirit, heart, mind, body, and voice. In other words, don't let 'I love you' be empty.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
Try a really sarcastic "You sure about that?".
Gets them every time. Or something like "Your mother".
C'mon, be creative. Jesus. When I was a youngin' we weren't allowed to say the same thing twice.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
My boyfriend always says "You're amazing" and "I adore you."
Of course if you're really that deeply in.. adoration, that kind of thing really goes without saying...

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
"I love...a good blowjob"
in all seriousness though, you can say
"I heart you" or
"I care about you a lot"
It works pretty well, especially when you don't want to have to say those dirty, disgusting words.

That got said between my gf and I for a few months, until we both felt comfortable and sure enough to say the L word to each other. It works fine.

I would have to say the word "like" is a down-graded version of love. To like someone isnt to love them, it's to want them more then a friend, though less than a lover.

Re: Alternative to I Love You...
Get over yourself and say that you love her.
Why stress over semantics, make her feel unloved/unwanted/etc., and settle for love-lite.
Live life damnit.
