Default So...I wrote a song that's very dear to me.

Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh FUCK!

Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, FUCK FUCK!

Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh FUCK FUCK FUCK!

Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, Oh shit, FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!

Oh shit, Oh fuck! Oh shit, Oh FUCK! Oh shit, Oh fuck! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!

Shit, Fuck, Shit, Fuck, Shit, Fuck, Shit, Fuck!

Shit Shit Fuck, Shit Shit Fuck, Shit FUCK!

(pause)

I'VE GOT A BROKEN CONDOM ON MY PENIS!

Alright, so my question is...how long before a home pregnancy test is useful? Neither of us like the idea of a morning after pill, neither of us like the idea of abortion...so...if she is preggers, I'm gonna be a daddy - if not, definitely massive relief, but also a bit of disappointment, I think.

God, I feel so bad about this...while I was fucking the hell out of her, I was starting to run low on stamina, so I started thinking crazy shit to hit orgasm...and one of the things I thought was 'This girl's going to be my baby's momma.' and then *splooge*...upon removal of penis, condom was split right down the middle...wow.

On top of this, she had a dream a few weeks ago that she had a baby...and I had a dream a few nights ago of two national embassies drawing up plans for a satellite nation. And I've never had a dream that didn't have allegorical meaning NOT come true...I'm worried, but if that's the case, whatever.

I think I want a drink...

Okay, well, first of all the morning-after pill would be a good idea. I mean, probably the best idea. Yeah. I think you should probably get them man.

Why? What's wrong with me just being okay with whatever happens? I know I'm not ready for a kid...but who the fuck has EVER been ready for a kid?

Very few are ever ready for kid...and those that are usually couples on fertilty help programs!

Have a large drink, or two (absinthe would be favourite) then go get the MAP.

They reckon home tests are so good now that they'll work from a few days in but i'm a bit sceptical. Wait til she misses and then go to a gyno.

You don't need a kid at your age. Go out and live life some more. travel around, decide what you want to do in life, etc.

Once you get a kid, you are stuck in the quagmire that is parenting, much less free time, and varicose veins. Do you want that?

Yeah...I kind of do. And don't pretend that only being 20 means I haven't lived an experienced life. I can shoot shit with the elderly.

Not doing the MAP. If she's pregrant, the decision's already been made. I'm not afraid of change, even on this scale - and she isn't either, unless she's hiding how she really feels.

If not pregnant, life as it is right now goes on.

Either way, I think we'll both be alright.

Doesn't seem logical to use a condom if you don't really want to not have kids

I gave up logic awhile ago. Doing what feels right, and that's all...tired of karma, tired of worries...just taking life and living it, ya know? Didn't use a condom for any reason other than 'I'm supposed to', lol...sorry, a bit confused and jumbled right now.

Sounds to me like you've got your attitude about right. Carry on this way and you'll probably find having a kid isn't such an apocalypse after all! Good luck

Your attitude is admirable, but also rather panicked, from what I can tell. Okay, good on ya for being positive, but a smart bloke like yourself knows that planned pregnancy > unplanned pregnancy.

Being as me, and all 3 of my siblings were unplanned...no, I don't know that. In fact, I think unplanned may be better as it's something that must be accepted and cherished...if you plan it, it's your expectation and you have all these insane and useless ideas of how you are going to do things and what it's going to be like. I'm able to say I simply don't know what's ahead of me, and will do my best regardless.

But yes, I am a bit panicked. I'm fucking crazy, it's a part of me.

Okay, well you know what you want. I meant on a financial level mainly, since you have to be in the money to raise a family right. But your other points make sense. i was unplanned too.

Good luck if it happens, nice sweep if it doesn't.

Well, my parents raised the 4 of us on 'missionary' wages...about 1k a year each. Life changed substantially when my parents left that work and went into 'careers'...but it was good poor, and it was good rich. They mattered, the money didn't.

Trust me, I understand what you mean...money helps, but it isn't the most important thing...not even close to it.
