Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
Actually im interested in this too. I have really fine facial hair so i don't have to replace blades often but its always a bitch forking out 30 odd bucks.
So a) do they give a good save and b) will you save money in the long run? and i suppose c) do they hurt, ive heard they pull your hair out rather than cut - ouch.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
my cousin uses one, it leaves a little stubble and doesnt shave as close as a safety razor(probably why women dont use them for thier legs). but its way easier and faster and harder to cut yourself.
im pretty sure that the cheap ones break so if you're going to get one spend a bit more for a quality one. they do not pull out your hair, that would be horrifylingly awful and messy. maybe some hairs get caught in the moving parts or between dull blades sometimes, i dont know.
im pretty sure bruan or some other company makes a self sharpening one, maybe that one in the commercials with the charger that cleans it too.
i think its only worth it if you're a hairy bastard or you cut yourself a lot. or if you're a homo that thinks people will be impressed by your shiny expensive electric razor.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
Just use the back of it that's supposed to act like a set of shears for you sideburns. You shouldn't be going bald, you're just trimming it off.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
The answer is yes. For quick day to day shaving.
Edit: They pull your hair if your facial hair grows long. In that case, you trim it, then shave.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
I use mine for shaving both areas, just clean the blades depending on the area
Totaly painless, just not as close of a shave.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
They both are just as good as the other as closeness. The electric razor takes longer. The sheers have a more likely chance of cutting you.

Re: Electric razor good for shaving?
It will cause ingrown hairs alot more. I use my electric only when I dont have time to use a blade or I am in a hurry. I try to atleast use the blade every other day to keep my skin clear, electric razers will chew your skin up if you don't know what your doing.
