I think this is the right forum, so here goes.

I recently joined a new high school, and to cut this whole story a hell of alot shorter, i am confident with most of the people there except the popular group, i'm extremely confident and popular with everyone else, but with them i can't say a word.

When i joined the school previously, i was expected to be one of the most popular there, as soon as i came in on the first day, they ran to me and greeted me, but because of this wierd lack of confidence with them i displayed no affection back, and since then i haven't joined in with them.

So i pretty much watched as my once popular place in that group disappeared before my eyes as i couldn't work up the damn confidence to join in with them and talk with even individuals of that group.

I've known them all for years, mostly from a far, but i used to be partly in that group and was expected to join right back in when i joined that school.

But now its all gone wrong, im extremely confident and myself with everyone else, but with them its a lost cause.

Can anyone help me with this?

Why do you care about such trivial things? Who really gives a shit about the "cool" people.

My school never had cool people though, it was segregated based on race and marks. Really though, nobody gives a shit.

You won't care in a few years. If you already have friends and are popular in other groups then make those the people you associate with. It's really not a hard solution. The 'popular' group is never actually popular anyway. They're the unintelligent, boring, materialistic douchebags. So, just go with your mental reaction of uuhhhhhhhhhhhh and hang with the people with whom you actually are able to speak. You'll save yourself from a future of bagging groceries and drinking St. Ides' 45s with those popular people when they can't get jobs because they failed high school.

You are obviously bitter as fuck toward the people who were good-looking and socially capable. They are the people least likely to fail in life because they're attractive and have social skills to succeed and they just fuck eachother so dorks like you can only masterbate about the girls the popular guys are fucking. Jealous as a nig. mad apparent.

This is true, plus the fact that they are all rich as fuck & while the guys are clever yet amazing at sports, the girls are stupid and extremely attractive, so they eventually end up marrying one another.

What an amazing lifestyle anyway.

Personally looking back I WISH I had paid attention more to my education, and track/band etc than most of the people I hung out with.

Come graduation, you'll realise, you don't need to see any of these people again if you don't want to.

Yes, you should feel bad for me because I made a few sarcastic comments in my post. That makes sense why? And I'm not worked up over anything. You gave me a nice laugh, and that put me in an even better mood than I was already in. I don't need to back up anything, because I don't really care what you believe.
