First off, there are very few black people where I live. They represent like 1% of the population around here (although I still ended up with a half-black girlfriend somehow). So my image of them comes from TV and movies mainly.

Still though, all the ones I meet are just like that. They have absolutely no problem hitting on any girl. It's like it's impossible for a black guy to be shy.

I was at the bus station today after work, waiting for my bus, when I saw one of the few black guys I know. We're both waiting for the same bus, and talking and all that. Behind us in line for the bus is this really attractive black girl. (I might be a bit biased, ever since my ex who was half black, but when I say she was hot, I mean it... I find most black chicks unnattractive).

So anyway, all of a sudden, these 2 other black guys come around the corner (I swear this is the most black people I've ever seen in one place outside of TV). My friend is like: "Oh shit, these are my niggaz!" He makes this wierd "WOOP!" like sound, and they come over and do their handshake/hug thing, all like "OH SHIT! WHATS UP DAWG!?"

Then, without even an ounce of hesitation, one of them turns to the girl and is like; "Damn! Is this your girl?"

My friend: "Nah man, but I wish though" (he has a girlfriend already, otherwise I know he would have been hitting on her).

The other black guy to the girl: "Where you commin' from?"

Black girl: "School."

Black guy: "Hey, I gotta run, and I know you gotta run too.. could I get your number? I'd really like to get to know you better."

At this point, I'm boarding the bus, and they board together. He gets her number, then gets back off the bus.

I don't get it. It's not fair. Lol. I wish I could do that.

Yeah, right now in my college class, a shy black dude sits near me. I know what you're sayin tho, in terms of black/shy ratio, it is much less than the white/shy ratio. Probably cause they aren't so smart.

I live in south florida. There are a lot of black people around here.

I know a lot of them that dont have confidence or game. Some of my friends couldnt mack to save their lives.

But when it comes to media, theres a certain standard that black people should be players, and spit lines like it's nothing. It gives the rest of us something to aspire to, I guess.

It's a cultural thing though. Black culture puts more emphasis on having game. But still, there are just as many who dont have it as do.

They portray themselves as confident because they have color coordinated clothes and fake jewlery to match. Also, in their home lives people are constantly disrespectful to women and I suppose women are treated more like objects to them, unlike a lot of people instead of being indirect they are direct about it and act extremely rude. Females in this environment think it's "sexy" because that's how they've been taught they should be treated, etc.

I will just never understand majority of the black population, nor do I care to. I don't mean to sound biased here, I do know some Africans that are respectable people and I'm friends with many. Actually this is partial truth a lot of girls factor in the shoes. You can judge a LOT by a persons shoes so like he said most blacks have good shoes athat make them seem good quailty man. Trust me its in the shoes. A girl I know even admitted if a guy has shitty shoes she wouldnt even date him. But really, the whole "black people are ignorant thing" is not true. It is the media that portrays us as so. Also, it is the media the brainwashes many african americans to be ignorant.

And shit, I wasn't born with any game... whatsoever. That sucks when your friends seem to talk to all the ladies. Then have some so sprung they buy you expensive clothes. Another thing game and charisma develops over time. When I was at morehouse, and we went to clubs, one of my fellow midshipmen would always try to get numbers and compete with me. Then we'd see who could bring someone home that night. Out of the many times we went only like once have they not got a group of girls to come over. Sometimes the result of this was good. But once like 5 minutes after we got home, my aunt got home.
