An update on homecoming.
http://www.totse.com/bbs/Forum4/HTML/023522.html
I don't know if you followed up on my thread a few weeks ago, but I just finally got the balls to actually go to her house and ask her with signs. Sorta' like that scene in Love Actually.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idHrz_xqwsk
Before I was really nervous and careful with how I acted around her and not really being myself. But I finally just got around to do it.
What she said was that she was actually thinking about going with her girlfriends, but she said she'll 'think' about it. I don't really care if she says yes or no, but it's just that I care about letting my feelings go and becoming carefree again. It's been bugging and killing me that I wasn't doing ANYTHING or giving ANY effort with this girl. That was the real reason why I asked, not so I can go to HC with her.
So... wow. I can't believe I had the balls to do that.

Re: An update on homecoming.
Thanks.
I was really sick of doing things half-assed and just felt that I should start getting all of it or nothing at all.
I seriously don't want to go to HC.

Re: An update on homecoming.
Dude, that's totally lame of you. The second she said "I'll think about it" you should've been like "Oh, don't bother then". Attraction ain't something you ponder over while reading Plato. It either clicks or it doesn't.
You should've told her to make up her mind quickly or you'd move on. And then move on and make her chase after you, since she'd probably say yes at that point. If not, fuck her.
EDIT: Also, you talk about giving effort to her. Don't bother. Girls aren't worth effort, and the more you invest the less they like and respect you.

Re: An update on homecoming.
I have found that if you like someone, you have to tell them. If they reciprocate (sp?) your feelings, great, if not, well it sucks but its better than living in indesicion (once again sp?). Either way youll feel better. By the way, major props to you. I dont think I could ever do something like that.

Re: An update on homecoming.
I was really hoping that she would give me a straight answer, either yes or no. But yeah... instead she gave me the "I'll think about it" card, which I think is a way to give me hope, which is something I don't want.
But she says she's going to talk to me at lunch tomorrow about this whole thing. I hope everything will break down honestly so that we can either be friends or go further. Nothing half-assed.
