She cheated on me, in an argument over a week ago I called her a slut, now she is pressing sexual harrassment charges!?!?!?

SOrry for flipping out but this is a serious fucking charge.

There is no way that shit will stand in court.

Dont worry too much. Worse comes to worse and the court hears this they will probably laugh at her. Especially when they hear she cheated on you.

Did you do anything else that could be used against you? Hit her, post nude pictures around school, etc?

my friend had this happen to him. don't admit to doing or saying ANYTHING. apparently grabbing someone's arm is grounds for prosecution these days.

The laws on these things can be very touch and go. Especially at a university.

There is a three second rule here. If you look at a girl for more than three seconds, it's harassment.

There's a three second rule? I dunno about that man. I'm taking an employment law course right now, and in America there is what is jokingly refered to as the "one free grope" rule, whereby an employer/co-worker can ask an employee for a date, make a pass at her, whatever, and until she says no, thereby stating that this behavior is unwanted, it isn't sexual harassment. Unless the initial offer is quid pro quo, the boss gets one chance. And it can be as dirty as he wants.

Any ways, unless she is/was working with her ex-boyfriend, or was at school with him, she _can't_ bring charges (in America, at least).
