Break
Me and my girlfriend have decided to take a break. Well, I decided, she sort of agreed. Now, a break is different than a break up. However, what exactly is a break? Does anyone know what a "break" means? Does it mean different things to different people? Also, we hung out today, it doesn't really feel any different. Um, we were together for almost 2 years, so I guess our relationship isn't going to just fall apart in a day.

Re: Break
Why did you decide you needed a break?
Usually a break is when the relationship has gone stale, and both partners start dating other people. Then after a few weeks/months, you either break up completely, or both realize that you made a mistake, and that you belong together after all.

Re: Break
"Break" means go out and fuck other people as much as you possible can, but still having that one person to fall back to after being a fucking slut.

Re: Break
it means that things aren't final. it is a breakup that acknowledges the possibility of a return to the relationship.
