Re: girlfriend question
For you, TheComradical.........
quote:My girlfriend and me have a somewhat healthy relationship. She'll put herself down sometimes even though she's amazingly beautiful. She also has her problems with assholes and ex-boyfriends which I try and help her out with it. I tell her how much I love her all the time but then she questions me. "Why are you still with me?", "Other guys would have dumped me already".
What does this mean? I keep telling her I love her and that's why I'm with her...
Does this mean anything?
From what I gather, she has no self-esteem, and is utterly confused why you want to be with her.
Try and figure out, why, exactly, you "love" her. Spend time understanding your logic behind it, then tell her.
Really, if you can't think of a single reason, maybe you should listen to her a bit more closely...

Re: girlfriend question
Periods are better than elipses in most instances, and they only have 3 periods in them. I'm sorry I couldnt even read your question.

Re: girlfriend question
Gus you're a nice person!
Well, it sounds like she has absolutely no confidence or self esteem and that shes begging for compliments and such. I say you tell her to knock it the hell off. But thats just me. Im not really the one to take advice from.

Re: girlfriend question
Whenever she is feeling a bit down and insecure about herself, she asks you questions like that and you give her a self-esteem boost with your reassurance.
