Default Parents thinking you're gay

This evening, I was in the kitchen making my dinner and my mom starts making jokes about lesbians. If that wasn't akward enough, she takes a long pause and asks if I'm a lesbian. I told her I wasn't and I still don't think she believes me. I seriously don't even hang out with girls that much.

How many of you have had this conversation with your parents?

My mother used to CONSTANTLY accuse me of being a "Dyke", but then she also used to accuse me of being a "Slut" and a "Whore" who "gave boys sex" all of the time. When I was about 12 she got this crazy notion that I was hanging around the mall showing guys my breasts and letting them feel me up. To this day I have no idea why she thought that. She also thought my friend, Stephanie and I were "Dyking it out" together everytime we spent the night at each others house (I wasn't) and she stopped letting me hang out with her.

Of course, my mom is completely insane.

My parents do this to me very subtly. I'm in High School.. and I don't know about you, but over here.. we're always looking for the next thrill.

Even if it means, "Strip and run through that fire!" Anyway, we're always yelling stupid stuff like, "Dude, I fuckin' love you, you rock!" and we're always walking around naked to piss people off.

So my parents think I'm gay. The problem is, I don't talk about how bad I want to do that cheerleader in front of her.. So she only gets one side of the story.

Don't worry if your parents think you're gay. Who cares? As long as you're comfortable with your sexuality, and you KNOW you're straight, then that's all that counts.

LOL, bingo. Same here. Excerpt from a heart-to-heart between me and SASA The Elder when I was a tender 16 years old.

Papa Angry: ...so you see, son, I've no doubt that you'll meet your soulmate someday. And no matter who that is, or what people think of you two, I'll...

Me: Dad, for God's sake, I'm not gay.

*Awkward Silence*

Papa Angry: Oh, thank God.

I've never gotten this question because i think it's too real.

I feel that if your parents can accuse you of being gay so haphazardly then they probably dont really believe it.

And i agree fuck your parents, you are who you are.

Oh and question, how is this an opportunity to fuck with your parents?

It's probably not their most desired thing for you to be gay. So make them think your gay, and just torture their mind. Do this until they don't care and then tell them your not gay/the days you went with "Stacy" WASN'T to go look at pants.

Certainly.

I didn't spend highschool running around with my penile dowsing rod out chasing the 'tang as I was supposed to. They were worried.

My parents think I might be gay (or at least bisexual) because when I was like 15, I went through a bi-curious phase, and I admitted it to my cousin.

My cousin is a bitch and can't keep a secret. She tells EVERYONE, EVERYTHING.

So it didn't take long before word spread out throughout the family.

My parents used to think I was gay because I never took girls home. For me, bringing a girl home (ie. proving I'm not gay) is a big thing. More so, I had to have a 'tal' with my dad before I did. Telling him if he checked out any girls I did take home, or said anything inapropriate I'd put him to the ground.

But yeah, my parents thought I was a cock smoker. They also thought my sister was a rug muncher.

I forget where I was reading it now, but I remember reading somewhere that when guys start to complete puberty (14-17 depending on the person) they have a few months where their body stops producing as much testosterone and starts producing more estrogyne. You can tell when this is happening because you get little hard lumps under your nipples for the time you are producing. Anyway it is perfectly normal to be attracted to dudes for a little while. I got the little lumps but I never felt any attraction.

My parents know i'm straight, but my grandmother (the one I dont talk to) she is always asking me if I have a girlfriend. I think that this is because I dress quite well, compared to the rest of my family.
