I know what you're going through, believe me...after breaking up, there were pictures a day later on facebook of her kissing my coke dealer....you what that meant for me? I need to find a new dealer!

Seriously though, it hurts...and since she cheated on me, I can't help but feel angry and bitter and wish the worst for her. Luckily, I didn't even need to slander her because she is making herself look bad.

Also, here's some good advice that has helped me a ton: surround yourself around friends constantly, because the second you are by yourself, you'll think about it. I stay out with my friends all night, I make sure that I don't go back to my room unless I know for sure I'll pass out right away and go to sleep. Thinking about it is the worst thing you can do...I even went to church today with some friends just so I wouldn't be by myself.

Needle in the Hay and Miss Misery by Elliott Smith. That guy has the ability to make you want to kill yourself, pretty much all his music is depressing.

But! If, on the other hand, you want to lift your spirits I'd go for something such as:

Lift your head up high [and blow your brains out] by The Bloodhound Gang. That song gets me everytime. Really upbeat and catchy. Arctic Monkeys are good too - Try 'A Certain Romance' or 'Dancing Shoes' or 'Still Take you Home'.

Blur is more relaxed I think, not so depressing, but I would get 'Beetlebum' and 'Boys and Girls' by them.

Wish you Were here by Pink Floyd is another depressing song, as well as Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel.

Sam Roberts 'Hard Road', 'With a bullet' and 'Bridge to nowhere'.

Celine Dion 'All by Myself' Heehee

So many to choose from, really. I have thousands upon thousands of music files on my computer, and those are some of the songs I play most when I'm feeling down.
