Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
Uhm okaaay, maybe some of you guys will remember I'm fooling around with a girl. We've never had sex, but we've come real close, just didn't have a condom at the time.
But during those occasions, she once said "I haven't had my period, so I shouldn't be able to get pregnant...". What does that mean? Is she saying she's never had a period? She's 16, is that normal?
Cos like last night we were talking about birth control and she said "yeah you've got to have had a period before you can go on the pill.".
Is there something wrong with her? Is it normal not having had that at 16? And should I just enjoy this?

Yea thats not normal. Most girls go through puberty a LOT earlier then guys. Im thinking most girls get their period around middle school freshmen year if late a little.

I've never heard of anyone who hasn't gotten it by 16. But I guess it could happen.

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
At least she cant ever use the old "no i cant have sex now im on my period" routine. Except id have her get that checked out because i personally like periods. Not in a kinky sick way but in the fact that its a sign of preggers if she has a lack of one. At least if a girl does get her period regularly then one month she doesnt it can help raise that red flag and alert you to look for other signs or just go spend $2 and test anyways.

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
You can get pregnant without ever having a period. A period happens when a egg remains unfertalized. If you catch that first egg you can knock her up.
About not having one by 16, I doubt it is a big deal. I am sure she would have talked to a doctor by now, and is just a late bloomer.

yes she CAN get pregnant without having had her beef curtains bleed, especially if she's already 16. don't take stupid risks! use a condom!

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
she's sixteen and never had a period? i'm kind of wondering what's up with that. that means she's just beginning puberty, basically. but you said she has boobs, so that can't be possible. i guess it's possible she's got what one of my friends has (or doesn't have), which is a lack of uterus and ovaries. so she has all the characteristics of a female except the ability to reproduce.

Well whats wrong with just DATING a girl like that? I mean at that age thats like the perfect girl as long as she doesnt have stds. It sucks for her later on if she or her mate wants kids but shes 16 i doubt they want kids. So if that was true and she wasnt fertile it means he can fuck her cum in on around her all he wants and nto get her pregnent. Fuck Birthcontrol that would be the best thing ever. I mean for a long term realationship i could never be with a infertile girl because my main goal in life is to have a kid at least one child before I die so if i fail at that i fail at life. But for now if she cant get pregnet have all the great unproteteced(granted you KNOW SHE HAS NO STDS FIRST) sex you want and cum in that bitch like shes a paper towel. But I sound like an asshole you still need to treat her good and be a good boyfriend just now you can cum in her.

Well it is awesome, my girlfriend is on the pill so there have been a few times i have cum in her with no condom and its pretty good, i mean it doesnt feel that much better for me but its great for her because I can keep going and not have to pull out. Plus its kind of nice mentally knowing you just came all in your girlfriend and dont relaly have to worry about pregnecy.

I'm thinking that OP is meaning she hasnt' had her period yet as for 'that' month, rather than ever? Unless I have misread a certain part?

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
Some girls don't have it until they're 18, which at that point you should worry, but while 16 is unusual it's not freakish. She could start ovulating at any time though, ESPECIALLY if she hasn't yet so you SHOULD use a condom anyway.

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
ACTUALLY, that's not abnormal at all. In the 1930's and before, women usually got their periods around the ages of 17-19.
The reason we see girls get it at an earlier age is because of all the manufactured foods. They put heromones in the food, and they effect a girls
"maturity" rate (physicaly).
Is she on a Vegan diet perhaps? Or maybe has an eating disorder (like a defiancy)?
I saw a large documentary on this, it kind of saddening what's effecting current society these days.
...If she doesn't get it by like, age 19, then be worried?

No, I think it's BETTER nutrition that accounts for the earlier onset of periods. We're far more healthier than our 1930's counterparts due to a more varied diet. Also, not getting a period at all is probably down to poor diet/nutrition or ovarian complications so she should seek medical advice.

But in the 1930's, They didn't inject cows with horemones to keep them producing milk.
I'm not a vegan or anything, just saying a few intresting facts.

They don't inject them with hormones, they artificially inseminate the cows to keep 'em lactating.
Would you seriously drink something with hormones in it??

I doubt cow hormones give girls periods earlier. Besides, there have been 13-year-olds having kids forever; it was really common in medieval times as well.

Like ferret said, back in the day you were married by 13
She should probably see a dr. She may have hormone issues.
Not sure of a good way to bring that up to her though o.O

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
that's a valid point about girls maturing earlier these days. except, i've talked to b-phaze and seen pics of the girl, and she's definitely past puberty. she's got boobs and everything. so this doesn't sound like a case of late development.

Yeah she's definitely way past puberty, and she's horny as hell...
But yeah I don't know if I ought to bring it up, it's kind of her business not mine, I'm pretty sure she knows it ain't normal.

yeah, it's not really necessary for you to bring up. just make sure you use condoms, for both of your protection.

Re: Quick stupid question about periods and that sorta stuff
Sort of off-topic: I have also heard (from a reliable source somewhere) that the reason for females entering puberty earlier is due to hormones in the manufactured food. Just thought I'd point that out.

Errm, its not really that rare is it? Does she have that metal thingy implanted in her arm? I'm sure a lot of you would have heard of it. It's another form of contraception, right? It pretty much limits the menstruation cycle. Am I right?
