What do you think here?
Well I told a girl that I liked her this evening and she told me not to and to stop it. I foolishly changed the subject and she eventually left and now I need to know what this all means. It's all I can think about and I know the best thing to do is ask her however I can't ask until tomorrow so I'll ask you guys what you think.
My thoughts
1. She isn't interested in anything more then friends.
2. She has her own issues and doesn't want 'us' to happen.
3. She thinks I was kidding around and that sort of joking is a no go subject for her.
Anything else? One of my friends suggested she might think I'm too good for her which I guess comes back to #2 with her own issues.
I'll ask her to get it straight but I am curious as to what everyone here thinks. Also any advice on how to resurface this issue to her without making us both uncomfortable would be appreciated and what I can possibly expect to walk away with here.

Move on. Telling someone not to feel the way they do is a bitch response...she's not worth your time.

Re: What do you think here?
Well...recently my best friend's boyfriend, who is also my boyfriend's best friend started talking to me alot on MSN. He told me he liked me and how he wanted to hang out with me, without telling our respective partners. I told him that I can't help the way he feels but he's gotta keep it to himself because there is no way I will reciprocate. That's similiar to your situation I guess.
So maybe it's #2. It sounds like she has some underlying issue. If not than she's some kind of lunatic.

Re: What do you think here?
#1 is true, and it's not that she wants to be your friend it's that you aren't attractive to her.
That shit about girls thinking you're too good for her is B.S. That never happens in real life and is just a way to lie to yourself in order to feel better.

Sorry to hear it.
Forget the idea of being more than friends before investing more of yourself in it.

She's not really that much of a bitch, if she doesn't feel the same way there's nothing she can do about it. Stay friends but make sure you get over her (by never fantasising) else the friendship will deteriorate. The problem after these things is that she will start seeing everything you do, like hugging her, as an attempt to get it on so you're probably best to say you were just playing around.
all that said, i do not have a girlfriend at present ... maybe i just give up to easily ;)

Re: What do you think here?
She sounds like a bitch. Don't make friends with her unless she has hot friends.

Re: What do you think here?
Well you could drop a note in her locker saying "check 'yes' if you like me and 'no' if you dont.
Or you could have one of your friends go ask one of her friends to ask her.
Or you could do the smart thing and just forget about it, it really doesnt matter at this point which of those she meant, it all = her not wanting to be with you. So move on.
