Shaving tips
Okay so I used to dry shave my pubes, which worked fine, they were smooth and I almost never got ingrown hairs.
However months later wasn't the same story. Now i've shaved in the shower, soaked the hair, used shaving cream, and no matter which way i shave I get little red ingrown hair bumps.
So does anyone have any good tips on what the best way to shave is, and how to keep it smooth for a few days. Product names would help.

Re: Shaving tips
NAIR is the most disgusting thing in the world. My wife talked me once into using it on my armpits and oh god! Why why why did I do that? Apart from the mess and itching, the horrible smell didn't even go after showering. Don't use NAIR dude, it's the worst thing ever.

wtf? Yeah, it's got a funky smell...But its definitely tolerable. And it always washes off in the shower. I've used it on my pubes and my armpits. It's a little itchy at first, but its nothing. And its a lot simpler then shaving.

Re: Shaving tips
A hair clipper isn't going to make it smooth. It's not a jungle. Im looking for baby smooth.
Maybe wax, but im not so sure about that, dont feel like ripping my skin or burning myself in the process.

Re: Shaving tips
After shaving try keeping your skin real soft, so your hair doesn't have too much trouble growing back out. When ever I shave my face or tidy up a bit down there, I use baby oil after and a few days later.
I read on some site that the bumps and ingrown hair come from your skin being dry and making it difficult for the hairs to grow back. As a result... bumps

Re: Shaving tips
Don't bother waxing yourself, get it done professionally.
I can't help you with the ingrown hairs, as I get them super bad myself and haven't figured out a way to get rid of/avoid them.
You could maybe try using a toner of some sort, although I don't know if you can get one specifically for the pubic area...?
